Definitely still needs a lot of work, but today’s class was probably the most productive so far. I’ve tremendously improved my snatch and hit a PR! I’m happy that I at least got the movement down, so now it’s time to clean it up and start getting my weight up!

🌮 Cheesy Gordita Crunch 🌮
I was not about to let this get cold while I tried to figure out how to properly photograph a taco so here we are. *Sauce*
1/2 c mayo
1/2 tbsp pickled jalapeño liquid
4 slices pickled jalapeños
1tbsp red bell pepper
1 tsp cumin
1tsp garlic powder
Dash of pepper -blend everything together and refrigerate, ideally overnight ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Crunchy tortilla shells
pepperjack cheese grated
Refried beans warmed
beyond beef crumbles feisty cooked per instructions
Taco Bell hot sauce -spread sauce over one side of soft tortilla , top with pepperjack and broil until somewhat melted and immediately stick to the outside of the crunchy shell
-fill with beans, beyond beef crumbles, more sauce, lettuce, tomato and hot sauce

chipotle cheese. I steamed the bell peppers first in my rice steamer and they were so tender!!!

It's been an amazing way to honor our bodies through challenging, heart pounding exercise while also centering our spirits in the fresh air and high vibes of nature. These Mini Pecan Pies only have 6 main ingredients! The crust is made of oats, pecans, coconut oil, and maple syrup. The filling is dates blended with almond milk! Plus, you could even substitute the oats for almond flour to make it grain-free. They only take about 15 minutes to whip up! Pecan pie is one of my all-time favorite desserts, but the filling is usually mostly butter + sugar. So I was stoked to find a way to make it healthier & wholesome while maintaining the traditional flavor that I love. Any other pecan pie fans out there? 🙋🏼♀️

Samosas are something that makes my diet flawed. Yes, it's vegan but not everything that's vegan is healthy. This Samosa is deeply fried and made using potato stuffing and refined flour. But yet I am not ready to give up on it now or not anytime soon either.
In fact its the very reason I started taking care of my health and payed attention to what I was eating and all the ingredients going in the food that I eat and started researching on everything in depth.
It was just a normal day I was sitting and having samosas on dining table with my extended family members and some of my aunts joined in and informed us that they are no longer allowed to eat samosas. Their doctors have completely controlled and restricted certain foods from their diet and samosas were one of them. It scared me a bit because apart from microbiology if I really love something then its these samosas.
I started paying attention to not only the diet of those relatives but their complete day to day lifestyle. I kept on working and researching on everything they eat or did and their pros and cons. .
So, here I am today I have removed everything that's not healthy from my diet except samosa and this is how samosa, that is unhealthy food led me to my perfect health and I immensely enjoy my perfect health. I have seen so many people working to get in shape but the fact is if you are healthy and taking care of your diet and moving your body correctly, then the right shape is just the by-product and you don't even have to worry about it!
