RIP to all the houseplants we’ve lost since taking in Little Pip. 🙏🙏🙏 When we first took Pip in we had about 12 houseplants. We are down to four.
People always ask, “Why did you take Pip to the beach in the first place?” And my answer is always the same. Ever since Pip was a small kitten he began to tear up our home. If you’ve been following since the beginning you’ve seen the videos of Pip knocking over plants, climbing up window screens, or holding our other cats in headlocks. We took him out for the first time because our house, and our other cats, needed a break. And the rest is history.
Tonight, every time Pip went into one of the plants, I removed him and put him in the bathroom with his litter. This happened 5 times. I finally thought the struggle was over for the evening as he settled in to watch my husband do yoga.
As I was cleaning our room, Pip got smarter, he knew I was watching, so he snuck back in so quietly I didn’t even notice he was there. By the time I did, it was too late, he was already midstream.
RIP to all our beautiful house plants that have passed, and all those that are well on their way.
