“Your wealth is your health” I read that somewhere. I like it but it needs more depth.
We strive and we drive towards achievement but often those achievements are ill defined.
We end up defaulting to the signatures of wealth from 70 years ago.
I’m sat in Copenhagen airport as I head to the mountains in France for Christmas.
I will drink a glass of champagne this afternoon and watch sun go down.
Is champagne in the mountains wealth?
the feeling is.
It’s in the experience, the opportunity.
But to NEED a drink, to not be able to say no is poverty to me.
There is wealth in the iPhone, the coffee, in comfort, in pastries from Lagkagehuset, in a warm comfortable home, in a nice car, in so many things.
But these definitions have us overdosing on them, we are no longer being killed by our struggle but by our comfort.
Take the time to define wealth or it will “consume” you.
If your habits are stealing your health that’s not wealth.

This was me 6 months ago. In tears because i hated myself. In tears because of my skin, the constant feeling of being bloated and hating my body no matter the efforts I put in with my training and eating.
Some condition for being a Personal Trainer heyy... The worst part was coaching other girls and yet my own health and body was a mess and having to carry around that shame and guilt.
I was burnt out, depressed, every day having to nap in my car between clients or reschedule clients because i needed to sleep. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Acne flare ups that made me not want to kiss my boyfriend anymore because it would make it worse. He lost me as his girlfriend, I hated myself and how I was feeling, I couldn’t love someone else when I didn’t love myself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I knew I was a smart intelligent girl yet my brain was a constant feeling of 🤯
I knew i was a postive happy smiley girl yet I couldnt bare to smile or laugh anymore.
I knew a very driven person yet my actions reflected otherwise, the constant battle of trying to drag myself out of bed and the constant procrastination with every task I did.
I wasn’t listening to my body or intuition because I was trying to live up to the expectation of being a “good/typical” coach and just keep pushing through. I wanted to be a knowledable coach and go through it all from competing in powerlifitng (which I did) to fitness comp (which I did not) to better serve my clients.
I wasn’t the typically burnt out from over training under eating case. I was training 3x a week and eating 5 meals a day. Yet I knew I could’t keep doing what I was doing, which meant saying goodbye to my weight training 😢 and do a 180.
It wasn’t until I got off my high horse of trying to live up to expecations of being a PT thats when everything changed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is why I am so menstrual cycle focused because I used it as a guiding tool from not feeling like myself, having no period, feeling burnt out and depressed. To NOW HAVN’T FELT THIS GOOD IN YEARS!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is why I invest so much time and money into my health and prioritise it because it affects every part of your life and how you show up
