It’s so easy to jump on the bandwagon for a little while when things are looking up, but it is equally as easy to give up and back off when the going gets tough. .
That’s how I have been feeling the last few weeks. I didn’t like the path I was taking, I didn’t like that I wasn’t totally focused on my health and my body, and I didn’t like how I wasn’t prioritizing what is most important to me right now. .
It’s easy to talk about how great your doing, but when you hit a bump in the road - if you’re like me - you shut down easily.
Primarily for me, I just wasn’t reaching my fitness goals as quickly as I would like. In turn, this causes me to binge eat or drink on the weekends and not take care of myself.
What I used to do would be to spiral out of control...
But I’ve learned that in this lifestyle if you don’t like something, you do something to change it. .
For me, that was getting myself a trainer (@nicktongstrong
). I needed someone to hold me accountable, make my workouts tough, make me stick to a strict diet regime, and make me realize that I want all of these changes in my fitness life. .
I’m happy that I decided to MAKE a change with my lifestyle, not continue down the path I could’ve gone. Sometimes all you need is a quick refresher or some time off to realize what you truly want to accomplish. I’m glad I’m back 🙌🏼💪🏼 PS - Jaeger’s face
