See this picture. It's not pretty, and there's nothing remarkable about it at first glance. Hell, it's just overloaded shopping carts with a banana yellow car in the distant background. My Instagram isn't filled with perfectly posed images. My fancy Cannon often collects dust. Since we're tossing out some truths here, I'm lucky to even capture a picture at times. You also won't see a bjillion filters (unless I'm bored, which isn't often), because frankly, this life I am living is filled with many perfect imperfections and no filter can blur that out. I don't want it too either. .
Back to the picture. Does it make my feed look pretty NOPE. But I promise you, it's beautiful. At least the purpose of it is. Today I ran into my craft store to grab a quick item that I needed for a project. I noticed that the picture boxes were on sale which literally made my day. Because I'll need 150 of them before the month of October is over. October is #PregnancyandInfantlossAwarenessmonth
and for past few years, my local loss support group makes memory/bereavement boxes for parents of stillborn babies. .
These boxes help give grieving families something more than just an empty hospital bracelet to take home. It gives them a forever memory of their child. These boxes are filled with items of support and memory including mental health support resources as well. These baskets hold the 37 boxes that will go towards 150 that are needed to begin to fill. @southernpenn
are part of this incredible event as well, having received a box of their own after tragic loss. If you've never followed them, definitely check them out, you'll be both inspired and in awe of their absolute strength. .
