Moments, decades, and centuries. featuring my favorite ice cream shop.
A quick history lesson: the Laurelhurst theater opened in 1923. 59 years later, the GS450t rolled off the line in Japan. 35 years after that, I had my first ice cream cone from @fiftylicks
At this moment I was sitting in a foggy mist completely in love with this city.
Enjoying the gorgeous cold summer we are having☺️ #vancity
Ammonite falls is pretty bomb.
Nothing fills me with a sense of peace like being alone with my camera with the stars stretched out ahead and silence. Ran back and forth with my phone as a flashlight until it died in the cold.
i’m not sure there’s a place i love quite like this one. these trees make you believe in magic, mostly because the trees themselves, are. trust me.
This place where you are right now, God circled on a map for you. Wherever your eyes and arms and heart can move against the earth and the sky, the Beloved has bowed there- knowing you were coming.”- Hafiz
Have you ever felt like home was located somewhere else- in anouther city, state or country? Like your mind, body and soul are being called to a different spot on this earth? Like the place where you will be most at peace and reach the beginning of your greatest journey is so far from anything you have ever known?
Many people experience this phenomenon- it's the experience of being connected to your Soul Home.
A Soul Home is where your soul feels most at home. Where you mind, body and soul are the most connected with one another and you feel an instant feeling of belonging. Many tribes from the Native Americans to the Australian Aboriginals, believe that we all have a place of power on this earth. A place of belonging that will help us to fulfil our destiny. That our Soul Homes are where we can do our greatest work, step into the fullness of who we truly are, and our Soul Places are also where we come to heal and release things from previous lifetimes and traumas.
For a long while I have known that Michigan is not where I am destined to be forever. Although I love the little Mitten of the Midwest and have called it my home for almost 20 years, it's not where I belong. For months I have been called to the Pacific Northwest. I feel such a strong pull to step foot in the fertile soil and feel the rain on my face. Most nights I dream of living in a tall forest of Oregon and building the tiny home of my dreams there. I dream of building a career, family and life around the georgous landscapes that occupy Oregon and Washington.
I can strongly say that the Pacific Northwest is where my soul belongs. Where I will be at home. I cannout wait to travel to visit and then to move out west. Oregon and Washington definitely have my heart.
I feel that through our holism journeys it's important to listen to our mind and souls. To listen to what calls us and fuels our fires. What makes the most happy. To where our Home is destined to be.
“I will not be another flower, picked for my beauty and left to die. I will be wild, hard to find and impossible to forget.” -Erin Van Vuren
Love is important, but it’s not everything. Don’t make it your everything, because when you make it your everything you will be left with nothing.
Moral of the story: Don’t make someone else’s goals and ambitions such a priority that you lose sight of yours.

I spy with my little eye a little adventurer in a red rain coat!
Gorgeous views of the ocean everywhere along the Central Oregon coast. It’s surprisingly untouched.
