❓How do we face our fears❓
😞 Four years ago, I broke my ligaments while skiing. Since then I haven’t skied and the fear of another accident was always present. 😔
🎿Now, four years later I’m back, I’m overcoming my fears and fighting to gain back the confidence that I can do it. 🎿
The picture shows that the fear is gone and I am grateful to enjoy my favorite sport again. 👏

The 6th extraordinary promise: A pillar in the temple of My God “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.” Revelation 3:12.
How to become a pillar
Pillars can bear; they are immovable. It is the same for you who overcome. You will be made into a pillar. No matter what life sends you, what trials and temptations you have to face, you will never lose your faith. You will be able to bear anything.
But there is more to it than winning one victory, and then you become a pillar. No, it is “He who overcomes I will make a pillar.” This is a process. It is he who overcomes, and overcomes again, then again. It is a victorious life. Your faithfulness in your trials and temptations shapes you into a pillar that becomes stronger and stronger. Then you will be a part of the temple of God as described in Revelation 21. A pillar that can also strengthen, bear, and be a support for others. You will be a useful tool for God.
Claimed by Jesus
The New Jerusalem is the bride of Christ. (Revelation 21:2,9-11) By writing on you the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and His own new name, Jesus is claiming you as His own! It is a sign of belonging. When you have fought against sin, endured, and overcome it, just as He did when He was flesh and blood like us here in this world, then you belong together with Jesus and His Father. The glory of such a promise is incomparable.

TRUTH: There is always temptation lurking around to trip you up 💯. That’s real. However, what’s also real is your ability to overcome 💪. . . .
YOU CAN overcome! YOU CAN withstand the wiles of the enemy! God has given you the power to do so. THE POWER lives in you! (🙌Thank You Lord for the power 🙌)
. . .
How we overcome? Overcome every bit of evil with good. When you see an “opportunity” of evil coming, overcome it by good. You have a choice! Just because evil is present doesn’t mean that you have to succumb to it! . . .
Think about it this way: every time I sense or see the appearance of evil, that means that God has given me an opportunity to do or speak good.
. . .
With all this evil as darkness in the world, just think about all of the opportunities we have to speak or do good. #selah
. . .
We are lights of the world. It’s time to shine. #OVERCOME
Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Also, 'holding back' is from 'fear,' and that is the 2nd most powerful force in this universe! So what it takes to overcome fear and to love?💡 #shareyourstrokeofgenius#strokeofgenius
In order to WANT to get anything accomplished you have to WANT to do it!
Wanting to do something is different than having to do something.
So shift your mindset. Shift your focus. Realize how lucky you are to have this opportunity in the first place and CRUSH IT!
When I was 19 I met Pam.
I was in complete denial of an eating disorder that was threatening my life.
I had also just gotten off a 3 month binge on pills and booze.
I couldn't recall much of that time.
Pam was the counselor that was going to put the pieces back together.
For months I pushed her so far away.
Session after session I sat on that couch a wall.
This wall had so carefully constructed to protect me from any pain.
Nothing would get through.
Then, one day it happened.
No one knew but Pam.
I came into the office starved for days.
I almost fell over.
Desperately I grabbed for the wall.
She sat me down on the couch and gave me almonds, half a turkey sandwich and water.
This meal I won't forget.
She cancelled the session and just told me to eat.
Pam had given me her lunch and went on to work on other cases at her desk.
After that I slowly opened.
All of it.
She handled with grace and respect.
She taught me how to organize my past and put events/emotions on shelves.
To take them down when needed- look right at it- feel it all the way- and put it back.
On our last session she smiled and told me she was "so proud of me".
Those words meant everything.
For my life, my poise, my sanity, my healthy relationships, my future and my mental health...I thank her everyday in my prayers.
Who are you grateful for in your life?
Who has changed the way you look at the world?
Think of them often.
And thank God they were so graciously gifted to you.
