Just some clouds and a lonely fire tower
With fire season in full force, we can’t help but miss those brighter days of summer. We hope everyone - firefighters, home owners, land owners, ranchers, animals, and the like - stay safe ❤️ pc @kimmieeeg
It's time for another #ZephyrSpotlightRider
of the month! ✨
For August we have family trio Tricia, Micaela, and Meghann. Read about their Zephyr story below and see what it's like riding as a family in the studio ❤️
-What brought you three to Zephyr?
(Tricia) Micaela gave me a gift certificate for Christmas. I have never been keen on indoor exercise and hated the gym so I was very skeptical and frankly didn’t even want to go. However, I had made a big statement pre-Christmas that 2018 was going to be my year to “get back in shape”, so my plan was to use the gift certificates, be grateful for the gift and then move on. Little did I know I would become addicted! My daughter Meghann joined us a little while later once her arthritis calmed down.
-What's it like riding as a family?
(Meghann) It's fun to have family to support you during your ride. It’s also nice because we are more willing to schedule our evening plans around spinning. There isn’t pressure to skip a workout!
-How do you push each other on and off the bike?
(Micaela) We encourage each other to go to class, and be mindful of our bodies' abilities. It’s a low impact sport for my mom and sister so when we’re all in class together, we feed off the positive energy. Off the bike, we seem to eat healthier and be more flexible for family gatherings - in case one of us is spinning.
Thanks for riding with us, ladies! Your inspiring energy is infectious ❤️ #ridezephyr

It’s the little things: centerpieces made by fellow wanderers in the mountains of Montana 🌱
A Flyfishing Pro in the making!

Augusts in Montana are notoriously smokey. And while the summer of 2017 is solidified in many of our memories as the worst fire season in our state’s history, each year comes with its own level of destruction and devastation.
It’s hard to remember that fires are a natural part of the lifecycle for forests and grasslands when people’s homes and livelihoods are burning, or when your favorite ridgeline goes up in smoke, or when you lose someone you love to fire. Mother Nature is powerful, and we are living here beside her, many of us on the front lines.
So while we can’t control Her, we can come together to support those who are suffering, give thanks to our firefighters and first responders, and be ready to help communities who are ravaged by fire.
Let’s not let the divisiveness in today’s world get in the way of what we humans do best — we help each other.
Stay safe out there. And be kind.
This makes us so happy!🏵😊
The Ascensionist // The Journey. Ranges in Motion is performed with the instrumental post-rock band Ranges, to their album ‘The Ascensionist,’ the journey of man climbing his mountain and the trials that unfold throughout each stage. It. Is. Moving. And, immersive. And, brings forward personal + universal memories of struggle or working towards a passion. Of, climbing higher. And, falling. And, continuing on. “There is scarcely any passion without struggle.” - Albert Camus, The Myth of Sisyphus 🏔 #pushtherockupthemountain
