Buttermilk sunset. Such a great trip. This is one place I didn’t slip on ice or fall through snow. If you’ve been up here you know how far outside of Bishop it is. About 2 miles back down the road is where I found a little chihuahua running scared along the highway.
The Wetlands are beginning to wake after its long winter slumber. The geese are returning to make their nests. There were a pair of sandhill cranes. Soon, the beavers will be swimming in open water - as will the muskrats. The redwing blackbirds are flitting about. Spring is arriving.
