I will forever be an oatmeal girl. you know why oats are GREAT for trading and building muscle? WELL: - 🌱it’s a excellent source of complex carbohydrates that will push you through your heavy lifting and fuel you cardio if you are implementing such exercise into your plan 🌱 per dry cup, it has 11 GRAMS of PROTEIN! Not that protein is such a big deal, but if you are looking to build muscle then it definitely helps to increase your consumption by a bit. Oatmeal definitely helps with that. 🌱 a dry cup also contains 3.4 mg of iron which helps to transfer oxygen into the bloodstream and then into the muscles so that they can work/train more efficiently and not get fatigued as fast. 🌱 this is not a direct muscle building benefit but they contain a TON of fiber (1 cup dry has around 8 grams!!) which will keep you healthy by preventing heart disease so you won’t get chronic disease and can lift more weights and get 👏🏻 shredded 👏🏻 - OATS PICTURED: sticky banana oats topped with more banana, kiwi, cacao nibs (my new obsession), and almond butter (my love. When I woke up this morning and saw the amount of snow falling outside I knew I needed a comforting bowl of warm oats and a hot coffee to tune it out 💆🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️ And while I’m still dreading the track to work I have to say I do feel a tad less angry at Mother Nature now 🤓 Here’s the deets on this bowl of oats - 1/2 mashed banana, 1 tbsp hemp seeds, 1/3 cup of oats and @pb2foods dehydrated pb all stirred together and mixed with 2/3 cup almond milk. Microwaved for 2 mins then fluffed it up with a fork and topped it with the rest of my banana, blackberries (my current fave), sunflower seeds, more hemp seeds and @costco Kirkland almond butter! 🥰😍 Stay warm friends! And if you live somewhere warm all year round I am just jealous.

Pip and Nut Crunchy Maple Peanut Butter.🥜 These jars normally have quiet a large price tag but I managed to pick this up from @bootsuk for under £1.20. Win. I’ve only tried the original smooth Pip & Nut in the passed by which I was impressed. You have to give this a good stir to get it going, but once you do it’s a great consistency. It’s less thick with lots of crunchy pieces so is the perfect consistency for drizzling. It’s vegan friendly and palm oil free. The butter has a smooth peanut flavoured base and the maple component adds a pleasant sweetness. It goes well as a sweet topping for oats (catch on story highlights!) and pancakes and tastes good off the spoon. In the wee hours of this morning I decided to take matters into my own hands.* Guess how many oats are in this bowl, and then swipe to see how close you were! 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 *Pro tip: if you have a cold that makes it tough to breathe, which in turn makes it tough to sleep, try counting oats as a fun twist on counting sheep. It’s relaxing and more hands-on. If I were a real scientist I’d probably count several more bowls and average the results. But this probably won’t happen unless I develop chronic insomnia. In the meantime, volunteers are welcome.

Quarkschicht: 300g Magerquark, ca. 50ml Wasser, Zitronenaroma Die einzelnen Schichten jeweils gut mit einem Löffel verrühren, nacheinander in eine kleine Silikonbackform (13,5er Durchmesser) geben (den Boden etwas fest/platt drücken bevor der Quark drüber kommt) und bei 170°C ca. 22 min backen.
