I've spent the last 3 months concentrating on my nutrition. I learned a while ago how much nutrition effects your life. .
I used to always think it was only about fitness, but nutrition plays a HUGE part in weight loss as well. These last few months that's all I could concentrate on due to but not being able to workout. I learned a few things. .
Dairy, not so much. Going to limit that stuff to a minimum but because I love my cheese, I won't give that up,lol. .
Sugar, it's in EVERYTHING! I won't add any extra to my meals but I'm good with natural. .
Yes, I've lost a few pounds and inches but the migraines, tiredness and constantly feeling hungry was NOT worth it. .
So I'm going back to what I know works for me. I'm going back to the 21 Day Fix. If you don't know what this is, DM me, I'll tell you all about it. .
But let me tell you, I are EVERYTHING and ANYTHING I wanted and I still lost 15 pounds and 11 inches in 21 days. This is what I have always needed and I'm going back to it because it worked MAGIC for me. .
You know what works for you. You know what you can and can't do. Don't do something just because you committed to it. Do it because you committed and it's working for you. If it's not working, change it up. Try something else. Try something that WORKS and SPEAKS to you. Remember to always do you. .

The last 6 weeks of my home workout program threw me so many surprises. Believe it or not it had nothing to do with the workouts. See what happened was just life! The same life that happens every day. I committed to myself that I was going to complete this program no matter what! This was a promise to MYSELF.
You better believe that promise was tested! Right off the bat I became very sick. In the past I would have allowed this very reason to keep me from continuing. The promise to myself is what helped me get over being sick and allowed me to look forward to the future. I became so grateful for the power of the human body to heal and the simple fact that THIS SHALL PASS.
My weight even went UP during the six weeks, one thing I didn't expect.... due to medication and some poor choices of my own. This put me through so much mental anguish.
The one thing held on to was that all I had to do was trust the process. Get back on the horse and ride..ride hard! The more I let go of negative thoughts the stronger I became and the more fun I began to have!
Here we are, six weeks later leaner stronger and even more so mentally..

when we started this program 6 weeks ago i was all in - committed and excited ⠀
i had no idea that it would take me on this path of transformation ⠀
pictures show progress, but i can’t explain how exciting it is to -feel- the progress⠀
there were days 6 weeks ago that i could barely do certain moves - i was frustrated at myself a lot ⠀
as the weeks progressed i was able to do certain things easier, faster, and i was getting stronger ⠀
now that we’ve concluded this journey, i can stand back and reflect on the inner and outer shift my entire being has gone through ⠀
it’s exciting, fun, emotional, but most importantly motivating because we’re just getting started on this road to unlimited potential with our mind, body & heart 😊♥️👍🏼🙌🏼💪🏼⠀
I managed to record almost my entire workout.
2. Isolateral bear hold
3. Run 1 mile and practice relaxing the traps, and expanding my ribs to take in max oxygen. (I managed to breathe only through my nose the entire time)
4. 1 handed farmer carry
5. Half kneeling cable twist
6. Standing shoulder press to bent over row
7. Bicep curls
8. Tricep extensions
Not included are bench press, single arm bent over row, and hand stand work.

Knocked out a 4.2 mile run and some plyo work while the kids played on the park. Perfect way to spend a saturday morning.
Aaaaand workouts for round 1 are a wrap! It’s crazy that the last 6 weeks flew by so fast— just 20 minutes a day in my own living room to totally transform 😱 In case you missed it, my boss bootcamp babes and I are starting round two on Monday— this time with a SERIOUS emphasis on nutrition 😝 Official progress photos coming soon, but honestly I’m just blown away by how much better my endurance is, and the booty gains don’t hurt either 😘

Our comfort zones are beautiful places, it's where we feel most at ease, but nothing changes and nothing grows there!! I didn't even want to do this program, I don't like cardio. I didn't want to start working out again after Cavan was born, I was beyond exhausted. But I thank myself everyday that I just STARTED!💜Our comfort zone is the place we don't have to do things we don't want to, but just beyond that, where it takes a little work and being uncomfortable is where you find strength, positive change, and a entirely new you.🌈😊

Back to my roots today with an at home work out 💪🏻 I’ve only had a gym membership since November, I have managed to train at home with basic equipment for 3 years - I do need a gym now to train for my competition however I have built my current muscle from consistency and now I need to gain more 💪🏻 your muscles don’t know where you are lifting weights, running or doing a HIIT workout, your body adapts and changes wherever and whenever you put in the work.
If you don’t have a gym membership don’t worry, you can achieve whatever you want wherever you want, you just need the desire and help to do so.
