48 hour fasted deadlift and still feeling pretty strong💪 Quick update on my 7 day water fast below⬇️
So I haven't eaten in 60 hours now (only 108 more to go)!! ⏳I can honestly say I have not felt hungry once since starting the fast, I guess that's the benefit of being keto for two years and super fat adapted prior to this fast. HOWEVER, that does not mean I don't want food... Been thinking about food like salmon, eggs, and nut butters (even had a dream about eating salted pumpkin seeds from @wholefoods
foods last night).🍳🐟 My sleep has been amazing! I've had two of the best nights sleep I can remember, and this is coming from a girl who sleeps 8-9 hours every single night regularly. Mentally, I've felt super focused, relaxed and in a good mood. My mind doesn't bounce around to random things quite so much. I feel like my mind and body is in battery saving mode🔋At the 44 hour mark, my ketones were at 2.7 (highest they've ever been for me) and blood glucose at 76. Still feeling super strong with ample energy! Excited because people say day 2 and 3 are the worst, and day 4 you feel better than you ever have before💡✨ Since I've felt awesome the first 2.5 days, can't wait to experience the rest of this fast! 💧 And of course, can't wait to enjoy food to a whole new level when I break it Thursday night 🍵🥗🥚🐟🌰🥑🍓 Questions?! #CommentBelow
