So today I decided on a last minute to see a new documentary about Whitney’s life. She was my childhood idol and I knew all her songs..her music and incredible voice always inspired me through all my life. I started to dream about being singer listening to her first record when I was about 7 yrs old..The documentary is really good, well done must see for anyone who was a Whitney fan or just simply “wanna be star” and wanna know what it takes...Its very intimate a brutally honest sneak peak into her life and career. I have to admit I cried watching it for many reasons. At one point in the documentary I saw my friend young DonJuan Holder, amazing sound engineer who I met while opening up and later on a tour with Cassandra Wilson talking to Whitney making her sound amazing!!! At least for a moment I felt blessed and humbled I had something in common with Whitney, as he did make me sound great once too...😊 Please go and watch it! I don’t know why its being screened only in one cinema in NY and only at noon or 3pm but its definitely worth it! #whitnehoustonmovie #whitneyhouston #myidol #jazzsinger #newyork #newyorkmovies #whitneyhoustondocumentary
Have a bright, sunny, wonderful day!
