The hardest thing you will ever realize that you will never be able to achieve more than you expect of yourself.
Moving forward from your past and completely redesigning your future is not an easy task, and it is not meant to be so.
If it’s hard...GOOD! It’s supposed to be difficult as fuck. It’s supposed to be painful, it’s supposed to suck.
If you can’t push through adversity and be better than you were yesterday then you are accepting your current situation for the ultimate reality that will always be.
I love spreading messages that you can do and be whatever you put your mind to, with a metric ton of hard work and sheer tenacity, there isn’t a damn thing you can’t accomplish.
Truthfully, all the cards you have stacked against you is irrelevant. If the history of American culture has showed the world anything, it is simply that the mind is the most powerful piece of human life.
I’m not a perfect person and I wake up everyday wondering if I’m doing it right, I doubt myself all the time. At the end of the day, I get my fuckin ass up, and build upon what moral integrity I have.
Unfortunately in most cases it is much easier to just shift the blame off yourself and onto those circumstances.
If you want a better life, get up, and get to work doing SOMETHING, ANYTHING, that will make you a better person, or put you in a better position tomorrow.
Growth is about consistent action, not a magical formula that makes it all better.
Don’t relax just because it’s Saturday, find a book, a pen, a journal, a weight bench, a school, a volunteer organization, a friend that lifts you higher, and start doing something for a better tomorrow.
Don’t get to the end of your life and regret your actions, leave a legacy your children will be proud to tell others and build upon in their own life.
No matter what, ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
And if you can’t get up and get to work, don’t complain that you never had a good life. Nobody hands you a legacy, YOU BUILD IT.
