I am the girl that finally decided to listen to her own voice. I've been thinking about going natural from the end of 2016 and only built enough courage by the beginning of 2017. I Finally gave up the relaxers / brazilian blowouts, by this time I was not ready to let the heat go though. I only stopped blow dryer my hair in October 2017, this was also my first time using @sheamoisture.southafrica.
The first products I used from them was their JBCO collections and I LOVED IT
Whilst transitioning my hair became unmanageable and this was frustrating to me. It was mainly because of the two complete opposite textures, being my new thick growth vs my straight ends
On the 21st of January I told myself that enough is enough and I shaved it all off, I felt free. I always thought that people were exaggerating when they say going bald is therapeutic and freeing, but today I can stay that this is no cliche and I feel so privileged to be reviewing a brand so dear to my heart. It is a different range to what I'm used to, however my faith in Shea Moisture is quite strong. So I'll probably end up loving it too
