This morning I want to talk about glycolic acid. What do we really know about it 🤔Dr Leah Totton says, "The first thing it does is exfoliate away the tough, dull, dead layer of skin, it also manages to penetrate through that layer and actually rejuvenate and regenerate the skin cells underneath. So typically you will get two benefits; the exfoliation as well as the rejuvenation which is helpful for things like fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and blemishes." I think that sums it up pretty well. 😉 who wouldn’t want to include glycolic skincare in their routine🤷🏻♀️I certainly did😁and I started with B. Revealed glycolic cleansing peel for £3.95 from @superdrug
(very reasonable price👌🏼It normally costs £7.99) Glycolic Acid is a fruit acid derived from sugar cane and part of the AHA family and that is why you need to use it either with SPF in the AM, or do it as I do which is in my eve routine few times a week. Introduce you skin to all the AHA acids gradually starting with the low %. This peel is very gentle, I apply it and leave it for 2-3 mins while Im brushing my teeth. Instantly my skin feels oil free and its looks more “matte”. Its smoother and definitely brighter. I will definitely continue using glycolic skincare products in my eve routine. 👍🏻Can anyone recommend me something new to try? 🧐
