HOT NEW RESTAURANT | Foc - pronounced the way it is spelt - means fire in Catalan, and that's exactly what the 68-seater's got pulsing through its veins - strong, bright flavours are aflame. This restaurant and cocktail bar serves a food menu that is a collaboration between #Michelin
-started chef #NanduJubani
and former #FoodBarDada
. Small plates of traditional and modern Spanish dishes, as well as Asian-inspired tapas are presented in a contemporary manner. At the bar, #DarioKnox
(previously from #Catalunya
) shakes and stirs it up. HungryGoWhere had a first taste and we were impressed by the tender but crisp octopus done Galician style (served with potatoes and paprika, $22), the chewy (from diced octopus mixed into the rice too) black Mediterranean paella with seafood ($22), and the "hamburger" dessert (of salted caramel, chocolate and fruit, $12). The drinks were well done too - if you're looking for a cheaper reverse gin and tonic, Dario's serving an Apothecary G&T for only $12. Watch the full video on our Facebook page.
