Posterior hip capsule stretch. One of my favorite stretches to help with hip impingement like symptoms. This is a stretch that has worked extremely well in my own case of hip imingement. Here are some tips when performing this hip capsule stretch. . . ✅ - Start on all fours (quadraped position). Then, slowly externally rotate the leg that you want to stretch by bending that foot up. Once leg is externally rotated to the desired position, place other knee behind that leg/calf area to “lock” that leg into position. . . Next - slowly shift weight towards the leg that is externally rotated. Try to maintain a neutral lumbar spine position throughout. *Think of placing the majority of your weight “through” that bent leg all the way down through the bent knee. Imagine that you are driving your femur up and out of your butt by letting the weight of your body push through that leg - yes, this sounds crazy - i know - but you once you get it you’ll understand. . . Once into position - RELAX. Try to let all of the tension out of your body and let gravity push your weight through that leg that you are shifted onto. You should feel a deep stretch in your buttocks (on the outside lateral portion) if done properly. As the video shows - I like to add a rotational component by slowly rotating my trunk once the proper stretch is found. This video is also sped up to 1.5 times - fyi. . . 🐥 - Hip impingement symptoms can be tricky to workout around. This stretch may provide some needed stretching to the hip capsule itself and possibly help to decrease the pinching sensation with movements such as deep squats and lunges - it definitely has helped for myself. DISCLAIMER - there should be no reproducible pinching sensation in the groin with this stretch; if so, reposition to avoid hip aggravation. Be sure to test and re test your hip mobility/squat/movement pattern after this stretch. If improved - load that hip with properly executed exercise! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments. . .

🧘🏻‍♀️La meditation🧘🏻‍♀️. • Avant de partir sur la description d’une de mes séances de méditation libre, je tiens à mettre en garde. Il faut préparer le terrain, autant mentalement que physiquement. Je ne conseille vraiment pas aux novices de débuter la pratique de la méditation par des libres mais plutôt par des méditations accompagnée qui vous aideront à planifier et ordonner vos propres méditations libres. Vous pourrez prendre, ainsi, qques exercices appris avec ces méditations accompagnées, comme « le scan corporel » ou « les vacances mentales » et rajouter le restes que vous voudrez. Je vous ai donné deux exemples de méditations accompagnées, il y en a des tonnes d’autre parce que, attention, moi-même, j’ai encore de la peine à réussir à faire ces deux exercices seul ou je les fais mais très peu de tps🙌🏻. • Je vais, donc, vous expliquer une de mes préparations de mes medit’ libres. Je commence par chercher un endroit apaisant et où on entend la nature; forêt, rivière... faut le bruit de la nature en fond, en tt cas pour ma part. Je sais que, par exemple, chez moi mon mentale compulsif prend trop le dessus et que j’ai de la peine à le ramener à l’instant présent. J’ai pu le remarquer en apprenant à me connaître et a m’écouter, et cela vient grâce au travail que je fais sur moi-même🙏🏼. • Je me planifie une séance où je sais que j’ai du temps devant moi, pas de rendez-vous ou de choses à faire juste après. C’est un moment de détente et j’essaye tjrs de garder cette sensation de lâcher prise le plus longtemps possible même après la méditation. Donc si j’ai des choses de prévu droit derrière, mon cerveau ne sera pas optimale à 100%🤦🏻‍♀️. • Ça m’arrive d’en faire avant un rdv TRÈS IMPORTANT mais là, ce sera une méditation libre mais spécial plus basée sur la respiration et gestion des émotions🙌🏻. • Là, je vous ai déjà expliqué la préparation, comment se préparer physiquement, je vous ai « planter le décor ». I started my keto adventure this Monday. I wanted to "ease into it" by making my macro goals 65% fats - 25% protein - 10% carbohydrates and later drop the carbs to 5% and raise the fats to 70% to optimise ketosis. 🤔 Here you see the simplified macros and what strikes me is that I'm always pretty low on carbs already. I really thought I'd struggle with that! 😮 Also I seem to be a bit high on the protein levels, but I suspect that won't be a problem for now. 🙂 If you look at the big whopper on Friday: I got together with some friends I hadn't seen in a very long time and for dinner we decided on French fries, burgers and beers. 😒 I must say that I don't really feel bad about breaking my keto run, but I do remember why I don't drink alcohol anymore...! 😂 Still kinda struggling with this: How do you guys handle "cheat days"?!

Voici mon assiette de spaghetti bolognaise qui comporte : . . . . ➰ Une seule cuillère à café d’huile d’olive, un oignon, la moitié d’une tomate et une petite boîte de concentré de tomate, sel et poivre et quelques épices. . . . ➰ 120 g de viande haché. . . ➰ 200g de féculents cuits = 60 crus. . J’ai accompagnée mon plat d’une salade avec un peu de vinaigre, du sel et du poivre. . ➰Pastèque (250g) ou 1 entremets sans sucre (125g). . ➰30g de pain. . . J’ai mangé cette quantité le midi et je me suis fait plaisir mais j’ai respectée mes quantités et c’était très bon !! Voilà comment manger plus sain sans pour autant mourrir de faim.
