Thanks for sharing Joy!! Just a personal reflection: The past couple weeks, my trainer (Darcy Hagele Bedker @ Studio Fitness) has been pushing me to lift heavy. My own personal weight has been such a focus for me that I'd forgotten what I really love about the gym - lifting heavy sht. She is amazing and knows what I really need. Do I need to drop 20 pounds? Yup. But she knows that for me to feel strong mentally and physically is far more powerful right now. I've had people ask me why I have a "personal trainer" and why I don't just go to the gym on my own well, it is because someone is there to read what I need the second I walk in that door and help me execute - a coach. I'm so grateful! And, I'd be remiss not to mention all the coaches and the SF community! Like today, hearing Sonya Murphy Acord give me a vote of encouragement was priceless while I was struggling on my last reps. I thank God He made me strong and has put people in my path to help me realize it!
