You'll never progress if you're at it one week and out the next. - It takes a string of small wins. 5 lbs a week doesn't sound like much to add to your squat, but that equals 260 lbs a year if you're consistently adding it. - Don't forget to rest. Squat variation 3 for the week is this Landmine Viking Hack Squat You don’t necessarily need the Viking attachment to do this as you can just rest the barbell on your shoulder. Make sure the bottom of the bar is anchored securely so it doesn’t slide. @strongerthanu_inc Gut Wrench works well here. This variation is easy on the spine and knees, while putting a lot of tension into the quads. This also forces you to stay a bit upright, which can eliminate some technical things you might see with a goblet squat or any sort of barbell squat.
