Done with the last international distance triathlon for the year but there's still plenty of racing left in 2018.
Less than two weeks until @ironmantri Ironman Chattanooga, followed by @multirace Miami Man 70.3 in November.
When is it enough? 🙊
A good time at @multirace Fort de Soto Triathlon yesterday with a 1st place finish in my last international distance tri of the year. Always a blast with "Los Corruptos de ABPS" @tridiegor@gepubadala@runnerdude1979
On to the next one....
Race report for Mack cycle Key Biscayne Trilogy triathlon race 4. I continue to improve my swim and I had a great split despite the congestion at the turn bouys. Great conditions on the bike and another fast time. I felt a little winded during the ride and it felt like I was trying a little harder than usual but didn't back down because it's just not my style and was just hoping I would have a great run. I have been nursing a foot injury and was also hoping I could run fast despite the injury. I had a great transition 2 and my foot alright. I felt winded in the run just like the bike but I it felt like I was putting in a good effort. I finished well with 1st place in the masters and 5th overall. Still am a little frustrated in my run times and will try to get faster. For now I am going to nurse my foot back to health with some time on the stepper and elliptical plus some kick board drills in the water. Next race is November 11 Miami Man international Triathlon.
The countdown to #imchattanooga continues. Twenty more days to find out if the long hours and training will pay off 🤙🏼 Thank you @gepubadala for pushing me and coming along on these training sessions 👊🏼
And yet another podium to conclude @multirace Mack Cycle Trilogy series for 2018. Congratulations to Diego, Gerardo y Roddy taking the 🥇 in the men rellay team category, during yesterday's international distance triathlon.
Way to go and guys and way to keep it fun!
