Earlier this week I shared a bunch of images from the Mt Sunday overnight last year in New Zealand. This image in particular is a vertical crop of the whole panorama range, which will be available as a print soon. Wanna see a few more images? Link in bio.
“What do you fear, lady?"
"A cage. To stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire.” 🏰
Walking the hills of Edoras whilst pretending to be Eowyn ⛰✨ #Lotr
Made my way down to Mt Potts Lodge a few weeks back to photograph Chris and Ele's big day! It was surreal being a part of such an amazing few days, not to mention the scenery was nothing short of breath-taking.
NEW POST UP on the website (link in bio) - all the rest of our photos, and some favorite stories from South Island, New Zealand. Feeling so lucky to have gotten to spend a month exploring such an absolutely beautiful country! This photo was taken at my favorite hike there, maybe ever - Mt. Sunday (aka Edoras in Lord of the Rings!)
In the area where some of the Lord of the Rings was filmed. Near Mt Potts, South Island NZ.
Ok, so we just finished our 3 day hike in Rakiura track and celebrated with food (I had a nice big cheeseburger with bacon and egg, coleslaw and onions, chips, a mini hot dog, a beutiful veggie burger, more chips, 2 sausage rolls and a jam wrap. I think that's all...) and a bed in a hostel, so I'm gonna try and select some photos from the 1700 I already have of the past days at least before I die completely in bed. Please enjoy: Edoras from Lord of the Rings aka Mt Sunday, Lake Tekapo, Mt. Cook and the lake from the glacier (yes it's an iceberg in it) #aotearoa #newzealand #traveller #backpacker #stunning #nofilters #instatravel #mtcook #mtsunday #laketekapo #glacierlake #camping #food #ineedtosleep #imlovinit #grateful #aroha #roadtrip #nosignal #updates #thankyouiloveyou
One of the happiest memories of last year's trip to NZ, was hiking up Mt Sunday for this amazing view 😍 and also seeing the location of where Edoras from LOTR was filmed ☺️
Made this beautiful trip to Mount Sunday aka Edoras. It took an hour to get there by car because half the way is gravel road and then 45 min to the top. But the drive and walk itself were really beautiful. And I loved the moody atmophere of the mountains around.
