What is your “go to” for staying healthy? In this season of sickness I find myself using lots of different things to keep myself healthy physically and mentally.
This past week I’ve used cold/hot showers, light therapy, homemade elderberry syrup, magnesium, Emergen-C, probiotics, apple cider vinegar, meditation, chaga tea, oregano and thieves essential oils. Always trying new things to keep myself at my best!

What reminds you to look after you?
Busy is something that can be a blessing whether it’s work or family. Although sometimes, being busy can also take you away from your self-focus, and also well being.
Being too busy with external factors we can fall into the emotional pendulum as you become tired and irritable.
However being busy with mindful thoughts, actions, kind relationships, learning and experiences can be the best self-care you could ever gift yourself.
Finding the balance between your busy-ness and honouring “you time” will fuel your mind and body and remind you of your internal intentions.

The countdown is on for YogaTherapies newest addition.
Mala is a garland of 108 beads, each representing an intention, a mantra. Renowned mathematicians of Vedic culture viewed 108 as a number of the wholeness of existence. This number also connects the Sun, Moon, and Earth: The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters. Such phenomena have given rise to many examples of ritual significance. Mala beads are also used to help keep count of your mantra, or of your breath through a Japa meditation cycle.
The Mala represents also the cyclical nature of reality. We welcome you to join us for this new cycle. Wherever you are on your journey, join us for this next cycle.
Our thinking behind the naming is we will provide you with your Mala, The Mala provides a constant reminder of, and route to the peace that can obtained through practice.
