As you know from listening to the podcast, I am a HUGE Phillies fan. With my team in the pennant race, and a baby who is soothed by watching baseball (ever since spring training😁), we’ve spent the last few days playing with baseball toys.
My husband got some oversized inflatable baseballs (more like beach balls!) and an oversized inflatable bat from work; we’ve been tossing, rolling, bopping, and kicking them around the living room. I also have various baseball kitsch, including a Ryan Howard bleacher creature (stuffed doll, basically), and some plastic figurines of various players from about 10 years ago.
Cherry was very entertained by all of the aspects of our baseball exploration; she always loves to play with balls, and she had a good time giving hugs to Ryan Howard (and trying to put a measuring spoon in his mouth). The plastic figures fit in her shape sorting bucket, which she found hilariously delightful.
How are you teaching your little one to love your favorite team(s)??
Want part 3? Here you go 👍👍
The third exercise in this, awesome if I do say so myself, warm up for you will just make you say Ahhhhhhhh 🙂
This piece focuses mainly on the front side of your body. This will open up your chest and shoulders, as well as loosen your neck ❤
At last the children's needles that I ordered have arrived. With some cardboard that I had at home I made the drawing and the holes with a screwdriver, so that it would fit well with needle and thread. A fantastic exercise to develop fine motor skills and attention. #costuraparaniños #psicomotricidad #motorskills #aprenderjugando #picassopintaunagalleta
Everyday is Different //⠀
Today our Wobbel is a bridge, tomorrow it’s a balance board, yesterday it was a slide and the day before it was a puppet theatre....... the fun just keeps coming! ⠀
Something so simple yet so engaging 💕⠀

Clear jar with lid.
Cloth bug catching net.
White cloth pillowcase or small square piece of fabric.
1. In an open field of grasses or flowers, gently take your cotton cloth net and sweep it from left to right about 20 times on the ground back and forth in a fluid motion.
2. Once done sweeping the net, take you hand and close off the opening of the net.
3. Lay flat pillowcase or small white fabric on the ground.
4. Carefully and quickly flip the net over and open it to empty the net.
5. Quickly get your jar ready, and capture whatever insects or bugs were in your net.
6. Enjoy & explore by figuring out what you have captured.
7. When you’re done don’t forget to release them back to their homes! 🦗
🚫Do not catch butterflies because they have extremely fragile wings! 🦋 💡Try to find the name or type or bug or insect you have found! You can do this activity multiple times, too!
📸 Take photos of what you find and have your child(ren) draw and label their finds in a #naturejournal
📓 🐌Have fun! 🌿
We have been practicing so many skills this week! Sorting colors, color names, animal names, pouring, transferring, motor skills and reading! These are what we have focused on but so many other skills have been worked on strictly through play! These girls are all so smart and love to learn! I am so thankful to be able to spend every day with their beautiful faces. Today we will bake and *hopefully* play outside of the weather works out for us. ❤️
What is your favorite thing to do on a nature hike with your child(ren)?🌿
