Motivation Monday. Late post but worthy nonetheless. Growth is scary. Failure is scary. So much so that many people choose the osmosis path through life. Gradually moving along making little to no impact. A lot of people never birth their talents because they are too busy giving life to their excuses. Life is hard. Ok. 80% of people don’t care about your circumstances and 20% is glad it’s you. If you continue to do what’s easy, your life will be hard. If you do what is hard, your life will be easy. Are you the type that would rather not try over failing 100 times? If the answer is yes, enjoy the leftovers that the failures turned success leave behind. #motivationmonday
I’ll admittedly say I felt guilty at first choosing to no longer compete. I found myself asking the question, why give up now? I had internal pressure to keep going and pushing myself for so many reasons. For years it felt like competing was all I knew and was practically my identity. Seeing how far I’ve come just to quit, it almost felt... wasteful? But then I realized that the end of the story is only what I CHOOSE to write. And if I achieved what I set out, I’d say it’s a success! It’s not quitting or giving up if I got what I wanted.
And now that I’m >3 weeks post show, I can confidently say that no regrets were made. I’ve never been happier, more free, and balanced in a veryyyy long time. Life. Is. Good. ☺️❤️

I posted this on my story on Saturday as well! I tried out doing some jump rope. which i rarely do, and should definitely do more off as it’s a great little cardio warm up. I tried jump roping a while ago and keep whipping myself with the rope so I stopped trying and pretty much gave up. But, I don’t like things to beat me and have always been envious of my husband @iamraypark
being able to jump rope like a PRO. So I tried and tried again. I was able to do 2 sets. My first set I got to 150 jumps and my second set I got to 175 (my goal was 200 for both sets). Don’t be afraid to try something again, just practice and it will happen, eventually. I was actually thinking about it way too much, once I concentrated on listening to music it became easier. Then onto dead lifts with the very versatile hex bar! Love this piece of equipment! So, time to get real. I worked out tonight, and it was amazing!! I love that sweaty feeling, when I just want to stop, but keep going! I’m Proud if myself for doing it, and love the results. Now, here comes the sh*t part... Since my work schedule started, I get to the gym once a week. It makes me so sad because while I’m still seeing little losses on the scale ( 🎉yeah for that🎉) I can see changes in my body that I’m not thrilled with. I feel like all my hard work at the gym just went backwards and that’s no good. I didn’t realize it that could happen so quickly. I’m bummed and I need to really make more time for fitness. I have been tired and busy and using that as an excuse, but I really don’t want to anymore. I think I need to go back to scheduling my workouts, I stopped because I was going to the gym 3-6 days a week so no need. But I’m stating here now for some #accountability
that I’m going to really try to get in a few workouts a week. I want to feel good, and working out makes me feel that way. So here’s to finding even more happiness on this journey. #nevermissamonday #fitnessmotivation
