I used to be the person that felt as though I needed to stay persistent on a goal of mine, even if I was unhappy in the process because I felt like if I stopped I was a "quitter".
Well now I realize there's a difference between quitting and simply moving on.
Quitting is giving up when something is difficult and you don't want to dedicate the effort.
MOVING ON is being honest with yourself and knowing when enough is enough. Moving on is being able to listen to yourself; it means you’re taking care of yourself!
So, are there situations right now where you feel like they need to change but rather “suck it up”? Listen to your gut, and have the courage to make a change. It might be tough in the beginning but it’ll be tougher living a mundane life of what ifs and thoughts of what could have been..

A little communication goes such a long way! If you’re busy, say it. If you’re upset, express it. If you’re running late, let people know. If you don’t want to do something, be straightforward. If you’re unsure, ask. It’s so simple but so important 💙

Tried out my Camelbak on my long run this morning and all went well until Chris took the kids to Home Depot while I was running and I forgot to take a key with me and got locked out of the house. 😳
Luckily he came back sooner than later, so I could take a shower and get ready for my piano lessons (I did it in 7 minutes 🙀🙌🏻). Meal planning before lessons, grocery shopping after lessons, and I’m ready for the week!! It takes some extra time to do this planning, but now I have healthy meals planned for the whole week, so no excuses to eat like 💩. Put in the work upfront, and it’s actually easier for the rest of the week to eat healthy.
