Writing and starring in this movie was probably one of the my biggest moments that year ... i had written dozens of times but i never got the chance to actually be in one of my own films ... i refused initially todo the Voice Narration but the director kept saying "you will kill it" so i did it ... him believing in me made me believe in myself ....
The wait for something begins early in our lives. But as we grow older, we slowly start to realise what we really ought to wait for, and we wait in hope and in faith. This way we learn to be patient. Patience is not acquired but learnt.
Have you ever heard a Mulla Nasrudin joke? They're a fixture of any middle eastern childhood. The fables are about a sarcastic wiseman who comes up with infuriatingly clever yet cheeky solutions to his neighbors' problems. Here's one of my favorites: <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> One day, Nasrudin began talking to a man from another town. The man lamented, "I am rich, but I am also sad and miserable. I have taken my money and gone traveling in search of joy - but alas, I have yet to find it." As the man continued speaking, Nasrudin grabbed the man's bag and ran off with it. The man chased him, and Nasrudin soon ran out of the man's sight. He hid behind a tree, and put the bag in the open road for the man to see.
When the man caught up, he located the bag, and his facial expression immediately turned from distress to joy. As the man danced in celebration of finding his bag, Nasrudin thought to himself, "That's one way to bring joy to a sad man."
Always walk your journey with eyes firmly set on a centre of attention. Walk and never look back. You will face many obstacles on the way but keep reminding yourself that that joy of reaching your goal will outweigh your challenges. My centre of attention is Jesus. There's nothing better than reaching the end of the journey and seeing Him.
