I may not be perfect and I haven’t accomplished everything that I’ve wanted to accomplish but I keep trying! Every time I fall, even though it may sting a bit, I get back up! Never Quit something you really want! Today was more of a relaxing day for me with my workout. I did Yoga!

Dinner! Pork chops, Brussel Sprouts, and a potato! Dinner ran rather late tonight cause my son served Mass and then afterwards, we went to our favorite coffeehouse and had Lattes, a dessert 🍮 🤷🏽♀️, and a game of Chess ♟! Game night with Lattes at a Coffeehouse is always the best! ❤️
3 months of hard work and dedication, there is so much more about this journey❤️ but first the biggest reason I want to WIN is for my mom, nothing compares to the pain she is going through (cancer sucks) also for my kids for putting up with my mood changes 😁😁 and my husband for always motivating me. I had a night out with my friends! I went to a Tricky Tray and had a wonderful night! Lots of fun, good food, and drinks! I was also on the lucky 🍀 End because I Won! Woohoo! I didn’t do so bad with my eating either. During the day I had my protein and veggies but left all the carbs and the other stuff for my night time outing. I had a small helping of salad, a small helping of penne and vodka sauce, a small portion of eggplant rollatini, a small portion of Tilapia, veggies, and a small portion of mashed potatoes. I had one glass of white Zinfandel, coffee, and a mini cannoli. With that, I was still within my limits! Go me! 😃
Got my workout in! I was such in a hurry when I got home from work. I had to clean the house, feed the animals, workout, and head out to my daughters to take care of her cats. All that in 1 1/2 hours because I was going out with some friends. I could have skipped my workout but I knew I was going to have a glass of wine and some awesome food. I watched my intake during the day just to make sure I was okay when I went out.

It's Aiden's 8th Birthday today. Can't believe how fast time flies. My wild child has been so active since being born. Because of that he's been the best running partner ever, and he's the reason I started running again. I'm so proud of everything he has accomplished, Happy 8th Birthday my love.

Wise people are not always silent, but they know when to be.
I went out to meet up with some friends. I enjoyed myself with some indulgences. I planned this day and left all my daily carb intake for dinner. So appetizers were a salad with a few shrimps and a few chorizos in garlic sauce. Nothing too overboard. Dinner I had chicken in garlic sauce. I ate two small slices of chicken, which added up to about 4 ounces the other 2 I left for lunch tomorrow. Also I only had 1/2 of that rice and 1/2 of the potato sliced into chips. The rest I brought it home to my son. I had 2 glasses of Sangria, which I desperately needed today. Dessert I had 2 of those little slices of ice cream truffles the rest was eaten by my friends. I finished off with a Cappuccino! It may seem a lot but I actually didn’t eat much throughout the day just to splurge tonight lol
Overall I did good! I was still able to control what i wanted to eat and how much of it! Yay me! Before I would have not been able to control it! A very big improvement!
You can't see it now, but that thing you didn't get will someday be the best thing you ever had. Let it go. Better is coming.

Dinner! No carbs tonight with my meal! I caved in to a delicious 🤤 gourmet cupcake at work! Swipe over and you’ll see that beauty of a cupcake 🧁 lol BUT I also did a double workout to burn off those calories! 🤷🏽♀️ Such is life! You just have to balance. 😬😁

Less than 5 weeks out from competing in UFE Rampage show! Completely crushed my heavy leg day followed by 20 min HIIT session on stepmaster. Compare to few weeks ago my energy is now up, so is my mood and I am being more positive in my thoughts overall. I am also starting to see nice changes in my physique I didn't see before.The only negative is that I feel more tired and every chance I get, I take a little nap, lol! But in all.. I signed up for this race and the Shamrock 5k as a way to motivate myself to run more in preparation for my Spartan coming up.
Seeing myself IMPROVE the more I run has been the biggest motivation to keep running!
Gulf Coast 5k is up next! And whatever else I can sign myself up for!
