I’ve noticed lately that I’ve been eating less and not entirely on purpose. I still am having some sort of unhealthy snack like cheese-its or a cookie during the day. But I’ve been pretty good about breakfast and dinner. 💪🏻coffee or tea and oatmeal/grape nuts in the morning 💪🏻power bar for a mid morning snack
💪🏻lunch is always real food or on Tuesday it’s 100% a bagel sandwich from @breadhive
with meat and cheese and avocado.

💪🏻dinner is what I have in the freezer basically - fish and veggies or meat and veggies.
Surprisingly however, I haven’t been craving snacks at night through doing this. And that for me is my biggest obstacle. Usually if I’m doing stuff at night when I’m home - I want to eat something - which is hard to do when you have no snacks in the house haha.
But I’m also feeling like I’m STARVING when it’s time to eat which is weird because I’m not doing keto on any consistency and I’m definitely having more carbs than I want to.
Somehow it’s helping my appetite though. I am eating when I’m hungry and not eating when I’m not and that’s behind a lot of dieting at the roots of it.
Maybe when I’m back to training at a higher capacity I’ll have to switch it up but for lower level of energy expenditure right now this has been fine.
Conclusion of my findings: diets are only as good as your consistency to stick to them. If it’s not a lifestyle change, it will most likely fail. So mostly I’m going in the direct opposite direction and attempting to #confusemymetabolism

That’s a big part of it too. I meal prep 3 days a week for the following 2 days and it’s not bad. Keeps things flowing but changing and so far even with my shitty snack during the day I’m not feeling as guilty about it because the rest of my day is filled with #realfood
