Mozzarella and mushroom omlette with bbq sauce for breakfast this morning.
A cinnamon and raisin bagel thin with 4g vegan butter, two eggs and two of Tesco’s vegetarian bacon slices. Would not recommend, Quorn will always be the winner💪🏼 - 391 calories!
Up bright & early this morning so breakfast is on the move! 85 calories for the pear because it’s teeny, I do plan on eating the remainder of last nights pizza for my lunch today but before then off to do some walking to earn it..🙄👌🏻

Okay, time for a SUNDAY. SMOOTHIE. SLAP.
Learn: If you are a normal little human, consuming MORE protein will not make you gain MORE muscle.
I’ve seen lately people having meals with 50g of protein or even 70g of protein to reach a daily macros of around 170-200g of protein per day.
That is just… a big waste of money. Really.
Too much protein will only lead the body to either 1-burn the protein as fuel (instead of getting the energy from stored carb or fat sources), or 2-end up converting the protein to fat and storing it in fat cells (just like any macronutrient if eaten in excess). Plus, even though it causes no harm to the kidneys in healthy people, an excess protein WILL DEFINITELY LEAD to dehydration (protein breakdown produces nitrogen which is partially toxic and has to be flushed out). -
So, what should you do? Well, the body is only able to process roughly 20-25 grams of protein at one time. But no, that doesn’t mean you can only have 20g of protein at a time! It means that having more than that isn’t just going to have many additional benefits. What matters the most is the TOTAL protein intake your your day. To get more advantage from it, we should consume it throughout the day and not just concentrated into one or two meals, but if you have it all in the morning or split up throughout the day, that depends on how serious you are towards you muscle building goals.
