About 10 years ago I took a yoga class in Byron and was shown for the first time what it felt like to be seen as a student.
I was kinda new to the practice and not really that sure what I was doing. Chloe was supportive and kind and made me feel like I could actually do yoga even though I didn’t have a full Lululemon get up. 😂
Fast forward 10 years and by a series of weird circumstances she’s popped up in Newwy and she’s joining the Yoga For All crew.
We’re stoked, she’s stoked, Newcastle you’ll no doubt be stoked.
She’s everything we look for at Y4A. Humble, solid, hella’ experienced and basically just a bloody good human.
Keep an eye on our website for more ❤️ Love, Lys x

Nor does it make you immune to any form of struggle (or the negative feelings that come from struggle).
But having meaning provides a reason for you to push through that struggle, because you have greater things that you need to live by and achieve.
You might not be happy all the time, but your quality of happiness in meaningful moments will make all the inevitable struggles worth it.
And you’ll become grateful for those down days, because it’s the down days that make the up days feel so good.
You'll begin to feel good about your life on the whole because you are on the pursuit of something bigger than yourself.
Pursue meaning and you'll overcome any from of struggle life throws at you.
O/M reviews: Lords of Chaos
My daughter is in town so I thought what better for father/daughter movie night then the new Black Metal Indy flick “Lords of Chaos”, based somewhat on the book of the same name(that I read years ago), basically the story centers on Euronymous , the birth of Mayhem, Varg from Burzum, and the black circle of Norwegian black metal...the movie is def funny and light hearted in some parts and then very dark in others , showing how they weren’t master criminals in committing church burnings and murders but rather outcast metal dudes that pushed each other to violent levels, culkin was cool as euronymous and the other black metal dudes were entertaining as well, the guy who played varg did a good job of showing he was both totally nuts and a total goof ball who basically ratted himself and his buddies out; stand out scenes are the dead suicide and euronymous’s death , which really were crazy to see in movie form, and even though they committed real crimes , the black metal scene from Norway back then comes off as mostly party dudes that worship Venom w a few wackos thrown in the mix, overall I thought it was entertaining and cool to see in film format, I’ve seen a lot of people hating on it but I’m not sure what they expected considering it’s metal dudes in corpse paint burning churches down in the 90s, coulda been better but also coulda been a lot worse
O/M review score :7/10
Ps- Varg was a twat in the movie and still is in real life , Fuck him haha #lordsofchaos #omreviews #outcast #mentality
Believe in yourself! Sometimes I wish I could say that I was one of thous people who never thought about giving up... 💭 However that’s not my story. I’ve had to embrace the fact that sometimes shit is really tough!! I have to encourage and empower myself constantly by turning to God to guide me and strengthen me! 🙏🏽 I am never walking alone no matter what hill or valley I may be going through. ☀️In face I am building a 🆕 relationship with my struggle! My struggles have been amazing motivators to rise and really explore myself. 💪Struggles point out our weaknesses and show us where we may need to focus attention. They teach us how resilient we are, and if we let them your struggles can show you where you can most connect to the world an make a difference.
I know that every struggle put on my path will ultimately serve to the highest good. So I will take with grace what God pulls me through and always persevere to be all that I was put on this earth to be.

What happens if you're forced to take some time off due to an injury or some other reason?! .
The biggest mistake people make is that they stop doing all the other things they were doing to maximize their gains while training.
People start slacking on their diet, consuming more crap and eating less nutritious foods, they go to bed later and get less sleep, become less active and quit using supplements. ☝️☝️That's a perfect recipe for losing some muscle and gaining some fat in the process.
The 🔑 is to keep doing all the good things you were doing:
- Follow a solid nutrition plan (prioritize protein and cut back from either carbs or fats to reduce caloric intake - since you won't be as active)
-Use the off time to get loads of rest. Recovery is 🤴
-Its a good time to track your steps and make sure you're at least moving. -Keep some of your supplements in
Energy is everything.
Everything we think, feel, say and do is energy.
We are MADE of energy.
Energy is always flowing from us and to us.
I immediately feel lighter and more at peace the moment I light a candle, cleanse myself and my space with palo santo, bust out my stones, drink some tea, do some yoga and/or journal.
The mentality and perception I CHOOSE to have creates a domino affect in every aspect of my life.
•“My body is healing” rather than “I’m sick”
•”I’m becoming stronger and more resilient” instead of “life is hard.”
•I’m thankful that my body rings alarms when I’m not taking care of it (sickness, pain, tension, etc) so that I may create the necessary shifts.
•Instead of dreading my period, I’m so thankful my body cleanses itself and is able to create life.
I used to get sick almost every week for a good while when I was a kid that it became a concern. Got some tests done and nothing was found. I guess I just had a shitty immune system?
For the past week I felt tidbits of flu-like symptoms and it finally got me yesterday with a headache, body aches, and a cough. I took it as my body telling me to rest (which is super hard for me! I like doing as much as I can in the time I have in a day)
However, this is only the second time I’ve felt sick in the last year and it takes me about 2 days max to recover. I’ve noticed my body is stronger and so much better at fighting illness. This is my reality check:
❗️Drink more water/less coffee
❗️Resting is okay ✨Isn’t it wonderful that our body’s naturally want to heal??? That our body tells us when something isn’t right??? If we listen to it, most likely we’ll know what it needs. Imagine your body healing one atom, one neuron, one piece at a time. How much you wanna bet you’ll feel better faster?
Shifting my mentality makes taking care of myself pleasurable rather than a chore. Taking care of my energy from the inside out from lighting a candle, to writing, to shifting my perspective, to exercising to eating right. It all matters.
Vibe is everything.
When it’s time to break from the hustle & bustle and enjoy life 🖤🏝
Pay Close Attention
We’re all human. We make mistakes and we get emotional about them. Most of us don’t know what to do directly after the fact. Sometimes, we tend to give up and give in to our negative thoughts, which can lead us into a downward spiral, but what if what we’re going is for a bigger purpose?
If you’re going through something difficult in life, it’s not because it’s not supposed to happen, it’s because what you’re not giving something the attention it needs. Pay close attention to what’s in your life that might be lacking, chances are this will help you solve a current problem.

Repost. This is so dear to me and I realised it touched so many people . It can be very hurtful and distressing to do something and make something work but really,it ends up hurting you significantly. Sometimes letting go after a long time ,was the relief needed from suffering . It may seems different on the outside , a simple walking away , but only the people who made that decisions, understand the full depth of their choice.
1 milkshake 🥤 isn’t going to ruin your progress.
1 burrito 🌯 isn’t going to ruin your new healthy habits.
1 bottle (YES I said bottle) of wine 🍷 isn’t going to negate your week of healthy eating.
1 action can’t undo days, weeks or even months of hard work. However, 1 action, done daily can!
Do you struggle with an all or nothing mentality? 🙋🏼♀️I know I do. How about instead of diving in all at once you just take baby steps? Add in 1 healthy habit a week.
You may not see massive progress overnight but if you continually make healthier moves you’re going to hit a point, like the difference between freezing and melting, that massive change will start to happen.
It doesn’t matter how slow you go, just keep going.

I FUCKING FAILED...OR DID I?🤔 In high school I seemed to be one of the “cool” kids. However, I sucked at taking tests. I only scored a 14 on my ACT. I was a poor reader and I couldn’t spell. I tried to go to college and they turned me down. They said I needed to take remedial classes that don’t count towards your degree and they cost money. My mom said she would pay for my college. But I told her I wouldn’t waste her money on my fuck ups. So I joined the navy. Never thought about it a day in my life. I just did it. Why not? So four short years later I got off active duty and joined the reserves and went back to that same college where this time I was in control. This Time they wanted me to come there. In fact they paid me 2 grand a month to go to college for free! Thanks to the military. 🙏🏽. So The moral of the story, is that I turned my fuck ups and failure to the driving force for why I do what I do. Today I have an associate degree in science and a bachelors in criminology with a minor in entrepreneurship. All of that was MY PROOF OF CONCEPT for what is propelling me into the successful entrepreneurial man I am today. That was the beginning! So what’s your proof of concept?🤔
