Your racing on the track to get your degree but then end up crashing on the track...everybody passes you and now you feel behind. A lot of us when we hit a brick wall or fail we tend to think we have lost because everybody is driving passed you while now you need to fix your car to get back on the track. We’re so used to thinking we always need to finish first but that’s not true. Let me tell you it’s not a race. I have crashed so many times in my nursing career and it can get hard to fix it but I did! You might have crashed once or a couple of times...but that doesn’t mean you have lost. Get back on the track and finish that race. It’s not about who finished first...it’s about who can finish their race and still be victorious. That gold medal is for you and you only because you had the will to win for your self and not others. Get up...race again...and get your gold medal...it’s waiting for you.🥇

Hahaha! Tag a Jits Brother that you’ve given that face to!
Have you been training for years and yet still stuck at the same level of fitness with the same skill level? 🧐
Your problem might most likely be intensity and programming. 😉
You should be training at a high enough intensity and pushing yourself a little more each session. 💪🏽
For example if you did 40 kicks on the heavy bag in 60 seconds this week, then the following week aim for 45 kicks in 60 seconds.
When you have maxed that out, does that mean you should just maintain the same reps?
No! Step it up a notch. Switch to jumping kicks and see how explosive you can get and how many reps you can do in 60 seconds and work your way up again.
Programming is crucial. 🙌🏽
If you or your trainer just do whatever you guys feel like doing that day or that week, do you think you are going to progress far? 🤦🏻♂️
It might work for a few months and then you are stuck. You need to know when to increase or decrease intensity, when to change the programme and exercises, when to deload and when to rest.
Design your training programme in phases and also work on exercise sequencing.
Work on your programming and intensity and you will take your fitness and skill sets to a whole new level! 💪🏽
Need help on programming, exercise and diet plans? Feel free to drop me a message. 😃

👂LISTEN - this is Pepe - a human machine - he’s just crawled 120 kilometres - now as you may notice he’s not 25 !! He’s 60 - this kind of radical achievement make a regular marathon seen like kindergarten stuff - believe me - YOU go and try to crawl 10 miles - and see how you entire body crumbles at the end of the first mile - MACHINE 👍💪👍💪
I woke up today with gratitude for those who share me in their lives. I am thankful for those who are a part of my journey. Thank you everyone for all your birthday wishes. I’m grateful that I’m able to do what I love with who I love every single day ❤️🙏🏼🥋🧘🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️ 🏃🏻♀️🌅
