I don’t ask my runners to take before and after body photos because ladies, that is not the point. If anyone ever asked me to do that I would run in the other direction.
I want them asking about my eating habits, my stress, how much sleeping I’m getting, my big goals and dreams in fitness and life and asking about the integrity of my pelvic floor and the current status of my fitness level.
Not a simple picture of my uncomfortable picture of me in my bikini.
The point is you set goals and choose programs that meet you where you are at. The goal is to find and stick to a holistic training program that will both challenge you but one you can handle so you feel fit, lean, sexy and strong as you push your paces and crush your races with out injuries or burning out your hormones. When you train that way and FEEL those things, than I know my program has been successful.
You are more than a number on the scale.
You are a grown ass woman.
