Today’s post is kind of a little more personal, but I think that every girl out there needs to hear this. YOU DESERVE to be with somebody who makes you happy(just like how this ice cream makes me happy😉🍦). Somebody who is not gonna complicate your life. Somebody who won’t hurt you.
To all those girls out there going through heartbreak, I PROMISE it gets better. Not overnight & probably not after a month to be honest. It will get better though. It might feel like there is one person in this world to love..& then eventually you find someone new.
I’m not one to typically talk about my relationships, but here is what ya need to know. If you have to STOP doing things that YOU LOVE... or you find yourself CHANGING for a guy just so things can maybe work out... that’s a red flag. 🚩🚩🚩 Girl, you shouldn’t have to change who you are to be with someone that supposedly “likes you”. Lastly, if a guy keeps treating you like crap, leave. Stop putting in effort when you’re getting nothing in return. Chances are... if he did it once he’s gonna do it again. 🤷🏽♀️
Moral of the story? I caught myself doing some of these things this last week. I stopped doing things that MADE ME HAPPY.. because I wanted something to work out. Turns out, it didn’t work out & it reminded me that I should not have to stop making time for things I enjoy just because someone wants me to. 😊🙌🏽
And ya know what?? I don’t need complicated.. because I have that all on my own😂😂😂 This week is gonna be a long one with finals, but I’m just gonna put one foot in front of the other & get through this week. 🙌🏽❤️😊

Feeding time! Pig nutrition is a very complex matrix. They need enough fats- like those from milk, that they grow well and have a good marble but no so much that it accumulates as unsavory back fat. They need roughage- like hay, but more than a few bites and the meat will taste rank and almost musky. If they are fed too much grain, like wheat or barley the meat takes on a bitter taste and tough. We have dialed our feeding program with the help of a livestock nutritionist so it is tailored precisely for each pigs need. Our breeders have much more need for micro and macro nutrients since ultimately we need them to be optimal condition for longevity and higher production. Our future butcher pigs don't require such precision since they will be butchered at around nine months old and their feeding is concentrated on growing quickly with all emphasis on flavor, texture and marble. Any time we introduce a new feed our entire regime must again be analyzed. We could easily feed them less expensively by using the hay we can grow here or using cast offs from other food production sources (like feeding exclusively brewery grains) however we are unwilling to ever compromise the quality of the meat folks have come to expect from our signature pork or the health of our mamas and papas. And so here we go, cutting yet another check to the granary!

The kids came with me today to my teams goal setting workshop. I love seeing them write down and think of all the things they would love to happen, not only do I find this incredibly motivating but its so important to show them from an early age that you can work towards and achieve anything if you have a strong enough reason why and work ethic.
I love how children's minds work. Amelias board had the obvious choices, Disney World, holidays etc but she also wrote down, help the homeless, give stuff to charity, always be happy, love, play, have fun with my family. I'm going to make sure all her goals are ticked off in 2019, Disney Land I'm working on.

•Go Grocery Shopping
Having everything you need for the week makes it so your not eating fast food as often, which saves you money.
•Declutter Your Surroundings
I dont know about you, but I cannot work in a space that’s messy. Obviously you’ll still have to pick up throughtout the week, but you’ll start with a clean slate.
Do I have to say any more?! You’ll save time & money. I always go for what’s easy, so if I have healthy snacks ready I’ll most likely go for those instead, but not always. 😜
I LOVE having all my laundry done before the week starts! Malias too! I just feel ready to take on anything! Lol is that weird?’
•Clear Out Your Notifications
I think I might be the odd ball here but I seriously cannot stand when I have unread emails, or unopen notifications. Is this just me?! 😂
Everyone says Never Miss a Monday, but honestly you’ll feel so much better not missing a Sunday (or whichever day is “your Sunday”). Trust me you’ll be less likely to skip the Monday if you kicked ass on Sunday.
•Look at Your Budget
I have a monthly budget calendar, I always try to spend less money on unnecessary things than the month before. Because I am so busy throughout the week, I normally wait till Sunday to add in all my expenses and income for the week in my monthly budget. Trying to get Debt Free that Dave Ramsey way 😜
•Get Enough Sleep
Honestly this is the hardest of them all. With a 3 month old I get as much as I can, so my “good night” is like 6 hours, but you should be getting 8 hours a night.
•Enjoy Your Time Off
I know it sounds like a lot to do on Sunday and may seem hard to also relax. But it’s not! I like to get most of the stuff in the morning, early afternoon and then I have the rest of the night to snuggle & watch a movie with Malia and Jamie 😍

Who’s pumped for 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣⁉️ I know I am! I’m going to tackle some 🙀big scary, life changing, 💕soul filling goals. What works for me is to literally map out my days/weeks to ensure I’m staying on track and using my time wisely. There is something about putting goals in writing that flips a switch in my head and makes it mandatory, not optional. I highly recommend taking the time to write your goals and tracking your progress. Although it sounds tedious, it ends up being a very efficient use of your time and you can look back at what you’ve recorded to see what worked and what didn’t work. .
Likely today is a Rest/Recovery Day if you’ve been hittin’ it hard in the gym all week. Use your “downtime” wisely by planning and preparing for, not just the week ahead, but also think about those long term goals and reverse engineer them down to daily, weekly and monthly goals.

One of my homemade presents.....in the last few years we have decided to cut down on presents ecc....family and a couple of friends will receive something homemade (kids will receive books and educational presents) ecc... With a couple of our friends we have decided to make time for each other, spend time together..... In the end I think that's what we miss most, is time together, good laughs together, making memories together.

So many people train hard and still end up seeing very little results.🤔
Or their results are like a roller coaster, one week the body weight is down, the next week it’s up by 2kgs.↕
The 3 main reasons for this fluctuation is consistency, trying to out train a bad diet and incorrect exercises or intensity during the workout.👊
Be consistent, people will come back from a week, 2 weeks or a 3 week lay off from exercise or healthy living and go straight into thinking they going to train every day as hard as possible. 💪
They then soon realise after session one, that’s not going to happen. They feel demotivated, they stop and repeat the cycle over and over again.
Use this method, start off at a snail pace and decide on only getting through 3 sessions for the week instead of 5 or 6 sessions. 👌
There needs to be a consistent and slow build up on sessions over a 4 week period then go back to another slow week at week 5 and use the same build up. This also applies to exercise and intensity.
Not pushing yourself can also play against you so don't allow your efforts to not give you results, play hard and play to win.
