This is my day. I had to add more ice to my shake because I failed at life when I made it. Not every day is going to be beautiful on your journey. What else went wrong today? • I slept through my alarm so I had to workout when the baby was awake. • she decided in the middle of my workout it was nap time so I had to stop and try to get her to nap
•she then wouldn’t nap... 🤷🏼♀️
•I finally finished my workout with her crawling all over me during abs crying. • it took extra human strength to get her to nap. • my shake is too thick... I don’t have ice. Screw it I decided to just go to my moms
• on the way to the car I dropped the keys... twice. • Eleanor played with the loudest toy ever on the way to town. I SO SO wanted to go to Mc Donald’s, 😒 seriously. It’s so easy. It’s my comfort when life sucks. But I didn’t. •I got subway instead. Allllll the veggies! And drank my shake. .
Meaning of the story?! I beat myself. I didn’t fall back into old comforts. .

My human heart still aches for his family, his beautiful daughter he never got to meet & for simply a life needlessly lost.
My baseball heart aches as he fascinated me.
Watching him pitch straight 🔥 was like watching an all inclusive performance full of swag, charisma, beast & boss mode wrapped in a cloak of Marlin Magic & Niño K’s. ⚾️ Such a gifted talent, lost tragically from a single night of poor choices.
That’s all it takes. 😔
Parents of athletes (kids in general), be the annoying parent!!! Don’t be afraid to Jamie Lee Curtis it, yelling out the car window, “Make Good Choices!”

I remember being woken up by my 📱, ESPN alerting me that José had passed.
I remember reading through the hot tears that welled & slid down my cheeks as so many emotions ran through me.
That may sound ridiculous to some, but he meant a great deal to me & Dylan & the game he & I love so much.
We didn’t know him personally, but we knew him because we all shared something in common.
For love of the game.
We understood his competitive nature, his exuberance for the game, his intensity & flat out desire to just play.
I watch my son play in that same determined fashion & it just hit home even further.
I remember thinking, “This could easily be Dylan someday.” Peer pressure is a B.
He’s an amazingly responsible & practical kid, but lapses in judgement is part of human nature is it not?
Making good choices is a constant & conscience effort.
I remember with a heavy heart having to go upstairs to tell Dylan.
The look on his face when I told him one of his pitching idols had died; how & (most likely & later proven) why.
Shock, disbelief & pure sadness. “Noooooo!” 😳 was all he could spit out. 💔 ⚾️
Such a fiercely competitive talent & tenaciously willed life cut short by 1 single night of dangerous, non forward thinking choices.
PARENTS: Be the annoying Jamie Lee! 🗣
RIP José. 🙏♥️⚾️
You are beyond sorely missed.

Yesterday was a bust. I didn’t run after work, even though I had plenty of time. I didn’t make a healthy meal for my family even though I also had plenty of time for that. We had Taco Bell for dinner and then cupcakes or ice cream for dessert. 🙀🌮🍦But guess what, I rallied at 730 and went to town. I started prepping fruit and salads for the week and dinner for tonight while I was inspired by a woman I have never met before about having a positive impact in the world. ⁉️Do you have time to food prep, care about your health and eat the good stuff? Yes. You just have to choose to make it a priority, find the time to do it and your body will thank you and maybe even your kids will thank you for being around when they have kids...As Carly and Pastor Jane would say- Make good choices today! 👍🏻

My skin is recovering nicely with a every second day application of a face mask and some propolis balm. Lately I have been using a lighter face lotion as a moisturiser. With my skin needing that extra bit of TLC I have gone right back to where I started with a facial oil with Lavender and Frankincense oil which was in the amazing starter kit. Only change is in the carrier oil - Amping it up a bit with argan and evening primrose oil. The beautiful essential oils still work beautifully. You can do so much with your starter kit.
I have sat with many parents who are overcome with guilt, mostly because they are concerned that the Divorce, in itself, will scar the most valuable assets in their marriage, their kids.
The answer is very simple - Divorce doesn't scar children but Conflict & irresponsible behaviour from parents do!
That's why I am a firm believer of Mediation and Collabrative Divorce: The math is really very simple:
Litigation + Conflict = Emotionally Scarred Children.
That being said, I furthermore believe in educating yourself in the process so that your focus & understanding ensures the best possible outcome.

Being a coach is really such a blessing on so many levels.

I work with a team of coaches who all have their own ideas and gifts to bring to the table. I never feel 'over my head' because I have so many resources from so many amazing people. We work as a team, an incredible team that is so welcoming and supportive.
I'm not at my goal yet, but that hasn't stop me from starting to help others.
I didn't quit my jobs to start being a coach.
Oh my, I am NOT perfect, but you know that's part of making this journey REAL and RELATABLE!
