I’m adding in some standing to my garage spin time, only a few intervals and it felt ok. 👍🏼 It was nice to see that I burned a few more calories in the same amount of time I am always on the bike. I also went to a gentle yoga class today. It for sure was gentle, but I still can’t kneel on my left knee so table top positions and child’s pose weren’t really working. I’ll probably go again next week though because it was like an hour long stretch sesh which I know is good for me. #trynewthings they don’t have to be HUGE to make you feel good about you!!!🙌🏼
Wow, we’re officially in the Fall season. 🎃 One of my favorite times of year... crisp leaves, cooler days , yummy food 🥘 ... but it’s also a time of year where I have to be really careful... 😳😳 Fall and then Halloween🍫 and then Thanksgiving 🥘and Christmas .... I can put on some serious weight over the next few months. 😳😳 Sound familiar? 😟 . Crock-Pot Burrito Bowls 🙌🙌🙌 Just in time for the cooler weather and PERFECT for busy school nights! Ingredients: Serves 6-8 1.5 - 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 small yellow onion, diced 2 Tbsp avocado, or olive oil 3 tsps onion powder 3 tsps chili powder 2 tsp garlic powder 3 tsps ground cumin Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 3 cups organic, low sodium chicken broth 2 cups diced tomatoes, drained (use fresh, jarred, or canned tomatoes (15-16 oz) 1.5 cups prepared black beans (rinsed well if using canned) 1 cup frozen organic corn 2.5 cups previously cooked brown rice, or quinoa 1/3 cup shredded colby jack cheese (optional) Instructions: Place chicken, & diced onion in crock pot. Pour in broth, tomatoes, oil, and seasonings. Cook on low for about 5 hours. Remove chicken from slow cooker. Turn temp to high and stir precooked rice/quinoa, corn, and black beans, into the liquid. Let cook 30-40 minutes on high. In the meantime, chop, or shred chicken. Add chicken back in, cook for 10 minutes on high, or until chicken is hot. Serve with fresh diced tomatoes, plain Greek yogurt, green onions, diced avocado or guacamole, top with cheese if desired. Sunday’s are for meal plan, shop and prep. Although this initially takes time to plan out when you first begin it does get easier and becomes a faster each week!. I also prefer to eat pretty much the same thing for breakfast and lunch so that makes it easier too! Find what works for you even if it is planning out the first 3 days of your week then do a mid-week prep to break it up.

1st long run during the 22-week training for The Bull Runner Dream Marathon 2019. I’m not happy with this long run cause my target was 6KM in 60mins. My right leg acted up again. It was so painful. I was only able to run 2x then I had to walk it off til I reached 30mins. I was able to start my walk-jog interval on the 35th minute mark. Still, I was able to hit 4.78KM. I KNOW I CAN AND I WILL BE ABLE TO HIT 6KM IN 60MINS. Small improvement is still an improvement 😊 #OHSFitnessClub #makefithappen #roadto42KM #keeppushing #workinprogress #tbrsunlifedream2019
