CHALLENGES FOR WEIGHTLOSS ? .
This was the most common issue I faced when I started my journey - lack of support .
. . “just eat, one meal doesn’t matter”
“ I made it specially for today, you have to have it”
“ anyway these diets and all don’t work, forget it”
“it’s a festival” .
But when I didn’t cave it became
“ you are too obsessed “
“ you’re a mood killer “ .
Most people face this. Majority of people dm me saying they can’t make healthy food at home as no one will eat it. Most people will guilt trip you about not wanting to go to a place that serves only junk or for ordering non fried food. .
Mostly these are people close to you… and it’s a difficult situation to be in. You are trying so hard and everything is against you. .
Just remember this is mostly because they don’t understand the importance of nutrition on their health. THEY don’t have the discipline and many of them are insecure.
Here’s something to keep in mind
1. Explain to them why you are doing this and the importance of good nutrition and physical exercise ( and if you’re following my SIMple tips, its for the health of the entire family !!!)
2. Focus on your goals – do what is right for you and try ignoring everyone else
3. Find support – anyone who will encourage and support you
What you are trying to do is tough, it needs a certain level of dedication that most people struggle with. It might demotivate you that the people you care about don’t support you but you need to do what is right for YOU.
It’s always the same… first they will ask you why…. Then when you succeed they want to know how.
