Guys, serious question, do y’all still remember all the lyrics to the song and jam to it whenever it comes on? Coz we do, and honestly guys isn’t it just like a 2005 emo song? Please agree with us.
Anyway, did y’all know about the dialogue at the beginning of the song? Yeah, Juice Wrld sampled it from Sting’s 1993 hit, “Shape of My Heart”, BUT he didn’t exactly ask for Sting’s permission, so y’all can’t really blame Sting for contemplating a lawsuit back then.
Juice Wlrd’s “Lucid Dreams” tells a story about the mental anguish someone goes through after experiencing a breakup. Juice WRLD said the song was made to be a "therapy session" during a period of relationship problems he was encountering.
The song was initially released on Soundcloud back in 2017 as a part of his EP, “9 9 9”, but then got officially released by Grade A Productions and Interscope Records a year later.
The song’s honestly so depressing, are you sure you’re ok, Juicey? Anyway... we don’t relate to this song at all whatsoever.... we aren’t depressed.... *fades silently into the background as we listen to “Lucid Dreams” and cry for 3 days straight alone*
