A recent release from CNN shares research that by practicing Qigong, individuals promote the healing energy of their bodies. ✨ Qi means energy and gong is accomplishment, therefore Qigong is accomplishment through the practice of energy. ✨ The CNN clip follows Qigong Master, Joe Lok, who teaches at least one Qigong class per day. His message is that Qigong is not just for the elderly, it’s for everyone. ✨ Qigong is known as meditation in motion and a recent Harvard study took it a step further by calling it medication in motion. Day 2💖. Ahhh, today was so good! I don’t want to share too much because Oprah and Deepak need to make a living after all! 😂. I highly recommend purchasing this meditation. So today, Deepak actually takes us through a gratitude exercise (prior to meditation) that is so LOVELY. 1) choose three things you are grateful for 2) beginning with the first, visualize it and FEEL the warmth, the energy of gratitude you hold for it. 🔥(Get tingly!) 3) SEND your gratefulness to the person/thing 4) SEE the response of gratitude being returned to you. 💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫. In my mind, I was grateful for the blue sky, which shimmered at me as it returned my gratitude in gratefulness 🔹✨🔹. I was grateful for two people as well and saw them brighten up and smile as they sent gratitude energy right back ☺️ You can actually SEE and FEEL the feedback loop which is GRACE. 💫💖💫. Girlfriends, this is it right here. If “Grace is the light in our souls” why wouldn’t we want to create more of it? It’s not just something given to us. We can create and become Grace too. This is usually my busiest time of the year. After supervising setup for the 19th Gala In The Garden at the @sandiegobotanicgarden (with a record attendance of 800 guests) add a beautiful wedding overlooking the ocean tomorrow and my weekend is complete 💖 The job of an event planner is very demanding: we work during the week planning events and putting all the little details together, then we coordinate the events on the weekends. It can become a 24/7 job if we’re not able to set boundaries. Years ago I learned how to live in the moment even during the most stressful circumstance. This allows me to find a quiet or safe place mentally and handle the situation with more clarity. There’s a very peaceful little fountain (in this video) at the San Diego Botanic Garden that relaxes me and gives me a very positive energy every time I visit.
