After we cleaned our cars off and strategically moved them considering it may be hit or miss trying to get out tomorrow; I came in and simultaneously made a Veggie frittata (zucchini, pepperoncini, mushrooms, kalamata olives, jalapeno, tomato, and Colby jack), chicken maple sausages, keto almond flour waffles, and keto chocolate chip cookies. Tried to make #keto pizza pinwheels, they came out more like pizza muffins. Who else drinks their water infused with fruit? With the understanding that this can add to your carb count, the amount is somewhat negligible and the benefits certainly outweigh the costs. For me, it helps me get additional vitamins and helps me mix up my water intake. Right now I am loving a slice of a lime and a slice of an orange. In a large bowl, combine cauliflower, 1 cup mozzarella, eggs, 1/2 cup Parmesan, and garlic powder and season with salt and pepper. Press mixture into skillet, making sure to get up the sides, and bake until deeply golden and dry, 25 minutes. INGREDIENTS 4 bell peppers, halved 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 large onion, sliced 16 oz. cremini mushrooms, sliced kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced 2 tsp. Italian seasoning 16 slices provolone Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish . DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 325º. Place peppers in a large baking dish and bake until tender, 30 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add onions and mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Cook until soft, 6 minutes. Add steak and season with more salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning. 3. Add provolone to bottom of baked peppers and top with steak mixture. In the mug, add a tablespoon of marinara. Spread evenly until it covers the bottom of the mug. Layer on 3-4 zucchini rounds. Spread 1 tbsp of ricotta evenly on top. Repeat steps 2-4 until the mug is almost full. Add one final layer of zucchini. Top with mozzarella. 🥓Pecan candied bacon🥓 • Comment YES or NO if you gonna try this recipe! • Updated the recipe from January. It's better if you precook the bacon. I also added sugar free maple syrup (optional) # 8 - 10 slices thick cut bacon 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/4 cup granular sweetener 1 teaspoon sf maple syrup 2 egg whites # Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put bacon on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes and drain grease. Mix pecans, sweetener, maple and egg whites until the mixture is frothy. Evenly spoon pecan mixture on each bacon slice. Bake for 20-25 more minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Check it often toward the end. Drain on paper towels. It will crisp more as it cools. **baking time will vary depending on the quality and how thick your bacon is. **I used Lakanto maple flavored syrup. **Whatever sweetener you use make sure it's granular to get the right consistency. . . This is probably the easiest side dish ever. I’m calling it Holiday Slaw. Using a bag of broccoli or rainbow slaw, I added pomegranate and pumpkin seeds and a homemade vinaigrette. Now That’s Yumtastic! Happy thanksgiving!
