♥Keto & Fasting ♥
Eat a ketogenic dinner and make that the last meal of the day. Go to bed as normal
-Get out the door and walk within 30 minutes of waking. Drink coffee or tea if needed, but it is best to limit your caffeine intake because it will cause you to excrete more minerals and fluid than usual.
-Bring at least 1 liter of water, with some added unrefined salt, and sip as you walk to avoid cramping.
-Walk for 3 to 4 hours, sipping water as needed.
-Arrange phone calls or something similar for your walk to make the time productive.
-The idea behind the walk is that you use up your glycogen stores, forcing your body to move more quickly into deep ketosis. The quicker you get into ketosis, the less time you spend feeling drained.
-If you prefer to shorten the time frame, you can do a 45-60 minute bout of HIIT exercise.

Consume MCT oil 2-3 times throughout the day.

♥Add further MCT oil or coconut oil if you need a boost. They can be omitted once you are in deep ketosis.

Day 20: PCOS and my weight - I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager. For as long as I can remember I have been on some sort diet. Some worked short term but I could never keep the weight off. I’d spend hours at the gym, getting a personal trainer, eating all the “right foods” and yes even starving myself, it’s funny how that’s almost accepted behavior when you’re overweight. All of this and still my weight wouldn’t budge. It was tiring, mentally draining, depressing and my life revolved around it..
When I was younger I never knew there was a thing called gluten intolerance. I didn’t know all the different names for sugar that is in practically everything! Who knew eating too many carbs was spiking my insulin and causing havoc in my body. Growing up in a mexican family all you eat is carbs! Tortillas, rice, beans, tamales, tacos... the list goes on! Lol 😂. It was really hard for others to understand, I would always get unsolicited advice on some new diet I should try or workout to do but the problem wasn’t my drive or ethic it was my body and it’s constant battle with itself. It wasn’t until recently that I learned what foods to avoid and what foods are ok for my body and how to treat it as a whole and not as a weight problem. Since then I have seen a tremendous difference in how I feel and the weight is steadily dropping for the first time in years 🙌🏼.

Bacon and Cheddar Panini on Low Carb Everything Bread
This was really good and paired nicely with the Tomato Basil Soup. I toasted up one side of the bread on the griddle with some butter. Once it was browned I used that side of the bread on the inside. I also sautéed some olive oil and garlic and added in some spinach until wilted. I assembled my Panini in the following order.
Bread (toasted side on the inside)
Extra Old White Cheddar
A little Parmesan Cheese
A little Parmesan Cheese

I then buttered the outside pieces of the bread and put it in the panini press.
Here is the bread recipe
I added 2 Tbsp of everything seasoning to the dough and sprinkled the top before throwing in the oven.

يك قاشق غذاخوري روغن زيتون
٢ عدد ماهيچه
١/٣ پيمانه گوجه خورد شده يا رب البته به ميزان كمتر
نمك ، زردچوبه، ٢ قاشق چايخوري زيره ، ١ ق چ فلفل قرمز ، يك ق چ پاپريكا ، ٢ ق چ پودر ماسالا ، يك ق چ پودر زنجبيل
خامه يك پيمانه
پياز يك عدد
اول ماهيچه كمي نمك و زردچوبه ميزنيم و تو حرارت بالا با كمي روغن هر دو طرف رو تفت ميديم
تو ظرف ديگه كه قراره ماهيچه ها نهايتا توش پخته شن
پياز تفت ميديم بعد ماهيچه ها رو ميذاريم داخلش با تمام ادويه ها و در صورت لازم كمي اب اضافه كنين و بذارين پخته بشه بعد رب يا پوره گوجه رو اصافه كنين و در اخر خامه
يه نارنجي رنگ خوشرنگ ميشه و با عطر و بوي حسابي
و دوباره اگه احتياجه بذارين بپزه و در اخر كمي گشنيز روش بريزين
حالا اگه تو زودپز درست ميكنين بعد تقريبا پخته شدن مخلوط سس گوجه و خامه ( و در صورت نياز ادويه بيشتر) بزنين
براي فر بعد از تفت دادن دو طرف ماهيچه تو فر براي دو ساعت با حرارت ٤٠٠ درجه فارنهايت *با گل كلم رايس نوش جان كنين يا با نان كتويي
*من خودم روي گاز درست كردم

I got a couple scrambled eggs, bacon, cheesy creamed broccoli and chicken. You can find the recipe for the broccoli dish a few posts back (look for a pic of a big Weiner and some creamed broccoli LOL) & the chicken is just a couple pieces leftover from el pollo loco that I threw in the air fryer. Super simple, delicious & catered to my indecisive self 😜 #ketodinner
Brisket for days! I made a big fatty brisket in the oven today. Season with your choice of seasonings. Set oven at 350 cook the brisket uncovered for 1 hour then fill pan with beef broth half inch high & cover tightly with foil. Turn the oven down to 300 & cook the brisket another 3 hours or untill fork tender. Comes out perfect every time!
