YYC Appreciation Post 🏙 •
•Even going into the colder days I love this city! It’s so beautiful and there’s always something to do.
•If you love this city as well and want to buy your next home in Calgary or the surrounding area I can help you find exactly what you’re looking for! •
Oh Toronto. I make fun of you a whole lot, call you mean (but not inaccurate) things like “small town pretending to be a big city”. But I legitimately could not imagine living anywhere else (no matter what the man in Queen’s Park does to you) and I will likely make all the sacrifices to stay in your overpriced embrace. I mean, what other city could you run virtually run the length of twice over and still not be done your Sunday long run? 😂 .
Picture taken towards the tip of Tommy Thompson park. The park itself isn’t great -its a lot of construction (and it’s all reclaimed land) and feels kind of exposed to the sun despite the trees and the bushes surrounding it, but the views it affords of the Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario are incomparable. .
It’s been a while since I’ve run there because of awful memories of the last half marathon, which really killed my motivation (even though it was still objectively a successful half-marathon) and made me rethink my goals and my training. Now, 4 weeks until the Scotiabank Marathon (what the fuuuck) I’m still trying to nurse that motivation and courage to make my impossible possible.
Happy Fall Y'all🍁🍂🍁We hope you all have an awesome day!!!
So many recommendations, so little time... but @RestaurantBREDA
in Amsterdam really hit the spot for our chilled Sunday lunch ❤ || A beautiful space where the menu changes daily ~ we especially loved the pickled herring, Dutch rib eye with beurre noisette ...and *THIS* cherry and blackberry dessert || Hit up the link in my bio for a list of local recommendations 😉🌱🍒🍾🥂☄
