🔥DENSITY TRAINING FOR FAT LOSS🔥 - - - - One of our favorite programs at KRF for fat loss is density training. - - For a 30 minute workout, we will have 3 eight minute circuits with 3 exercises in each. Typically we’ll have clients do 8 reps of each exercise. This makes it easy to remember and thus simple to execute. - - The “8/8” workout is a great sweet spot because 8 reps is enough to make it a meaningful set, but not so much that you wipe yourself out. - - The key is setting up in a small area, moving quickly between movements and keeping your heart rate elevated. - - The density piece comes from packing more work in the same amount of time, i.e. making your workout “denser”. We always set a goal of doing a minimum of 3 rounds and then increasing the number of rounds you do the next time you go through that workout. - - You could also, of course, increase the weight and do the same number of rounds the next workout. April - December 💫✨ This morning I started off by trying on some old clothes, this playsuit was my first ever goal I had bought it a day before I started my journey and when I got home I was stunned at the fact it was so tight. Being in denial I thought “no way this is just how they make them these days too short and small for anyone to fit” but the truth was I had gained so much weight and didn’t want to admit it. A better mindset shift is thinking of it as learning the healthy eating habits of someone who’s already at your target weight. If your ideal weight is 150 pounds, there's an appropriate amount of food (read: calories) that helps a 150 pound person stay 150 pounds. Don't make the goal to lose weight. Make the goal to learn the eating habits for someone who is 150 pounds. As you do this, you also receive the byproduct of slowly and naturally losing weight until it settles near 150 as originally intended. It will take as long as it takes — and that is fine! When you hit your goal you won’t care if it took you 6 months or 6 years. All you’re going to care about is that it’s easy and effortless to maintain.

Good morning, everyone! This diet bet has clearly motivated me! I haven't lost this well since October, so, as you can imagine, I'm quite happy with my progress this last week. I currently only have 5.2 lbs until I reach my end of year goal weight. Typically we’ll have clients do 8 reps of each exercise.
