What’s making everyone else smile today?
Once upon a time there was a girl who, on paper, looked like she had it all, get job, great guy, amazing kids & by most people’s standards had a great life. But she wasn’t happy. .
She was so insecure, never felt good enough, always trapped in the comparison game. She was a people pleaser and was always worried about what other people thought of her. That type of insecurity can overwhelm and even paralyze someone, it did her!! She was checking boxes, going through the motions, and she felt like she *should* be happy.... but she wasn’t. She felt trapped in a body she hated, felt like a fraud because she kept her true self hidden, felt overwhelmed because she was exhausted from putting on a “happy face”, a face that everything was ok-when actually nothing was. .
That girl was me 2 years ago. And that same girl has now found her passion, has helped lots of women find their confidence & happiness again, in the process, found her own!!!!! That voice in your head that’s telling you are not good enough, or that can’t do it, is not you. That story is your past and she is full of sh*t. You are destined for great things. So when are you going to stop living small!! I want YOU to join me and my amazing FIT FAMLIY. Flashback to when I first started training (Jan 17) and my goal was to have tricep definition. Check that cheeky smile when I could actually see the muscle pop out after training it 😂
So I have been second guessing which program to start as I bought the Kayla book, read through all the recipes and started to try and put a list together of what to buy etc and honestly, it all got a bit difficult. I haven’t bought the online program, started then tossing up between - Kayla, Jen Ferruggia or another bikini body program. I got myself all confused reading through all the reviews. Now I don’t know what to do and really wanted to start something very soon. 80% food they say? I know that this is where I need help and hence got confused on which one to buy between Kayla and Jen. I know I have to go with one, but not sure which one. So... in the meantime, I buy more workout gear from Lorna Jane ❤️ #lornajane #whichworkoutprogram
Did I ever tell you guys that the lady I had that uncomfortable parking run in with at my kids school goes to my gym??? She either gives me dirty looks or pretends she doesn’t recognize me 🙈 And guess what? Her kid is in the same class as Rylan this year 🙈🙈! It happened so long ago, maybe she’ll let bygones be bygones? 🤷🏼♀️ Still uncomfortable as hell. Couldn’t we just not see each other again lol. Total avoider here ✋🏻 .
Anyway, did legs but took it easy on my foot...day 6 and bruising is going strong 👎🏻 Going to a bday dinner tonight and the shoes are going to be a problem!! I just can’t go to a nice place with flip flops on!! 😩 Wish me luck!

When I read this quote this morning, I thought 💭 it sounds so easy and yet for most of us, owning our lives, living it authentically and fully, scares the crap 💩 out of us. What will people think, who will I have to inconvenience, who will judge me!
This is probably the biggest hurtle I CREATE. Yes I said create! I arm myself for what I think is coming my way. I stop 🛑 myself before I even start! It is normal to have shields up when I am stepping outside my comfort zone!
Sound familiar?? But what if, just maybe, people supported you, cheered you on and actually joined you. What if what other people thought of you really wasn’t as important as what you think of yourself, what if you loved 💗yourself enough to know that you being you is amazing!! It is time to stop waiting for permission, approval and start living your life. No more excuses for playing small!!!! Today is a perfect day and crushing your workout is a perfect place to start!! So here's my current workout split for those who were interested.
▶️Monday- Legs ▶️Tuesday- Upperbody (with trainer) ▶️Wednesday-Generally H.I.L.I.T ZUU sometimes mix with arms ▶️Thursday- Rest OR H.I.L.I.T ZUU depends how my body feels ▶️Friday- Legs (with trainer) ▶️Saturday-Rest (most of the time) ▶️Sunday- H.I.L.I.T ZUU with the @bayfittraining
I try and stick to this plan but I'm not too fussed if things get mixed up or if I have to chuck an extra rest day in here or there. Pretty flexible and all depends how my body feels. I workout because I want to and it makes me feel amazing plus with good eating habits that compliment your training, you rep the benefits 😍
It's not a chore for me 😉
