Yoga is the fountain of youth. You are only as young as your spine is flexible.
Ive been following a few people on here that are going through some very tough and trying times. .
Even though I don’t know them personally, I decided to dedicate my workout to them this morning because I CAN. .
This got me thinking of all the petty, insignificant things we focus on and how each moment we have, we should be more then grateful. .
The reality for all of us is ,we are not invincible to hard and trying times.
So when you feel like giving up, remember there is someone out there who right at this very moment REALLY cant get out of bed and just do normal everyday things.
What is stopping you from doing the things you want if currently your mind and body are more then capable?🤔

i got to talking with a friend yesterday about how she thinks too much about the future and it’s constantly bothering her because it’s hard for her to be present. i think a lot of people struggle with this. i know i used to and i still do to an extent. but recently i have gone through some major shit in my life and it honestly helped me to live life day by day. you don’t know what tomorrow will bring and you can’t control that. taking life day by day has helped me to live in the moment. worry less. feel more.
i was telling her some of the things i do that help ground me: MEDITATION, gah can’t stress enough how much this has done wonders for me. taking time to breathe and think about nothing. when you are feeling worried or stressing about the future, take time to meditate. ORACLE CARDS, i pull mine at the beginning of each week and use that to set my intention for the week. focus on that part of my life that week instead of a million other things. for example, this past week i pulled the passion card. so i’ve been focusing on what my passion is and how i can take it to the next step. but if i don’t make any progress on it, it’s not the end of the world, it just needs more time and that’s ok!! GRATITUDE LISTS, i try to make a list or say it in my head every night- 3 things i am grateful for TODAY, not tomorrow or yesterday, but what i am grateful for in that moment.
life is too short to worry about the future. take it day by day. there are so many things that are out of your control. be present. live in the moment. 🧘🏼♀️
