This guy can light up a room with just his smile, he has a heart of gold, a bucket full of dad jokes & the amazing outlook on life.
In the summer 2014 I fell madly in love with him & everyday I fall a little more in love!
I am so grateful you want to grow together, become the best verison of us, push us to be better & do better in the world. I am so grateful for the love you give me & I am so proud to be your girl.
What an amazing 2018 we have had, getting engaged, traveling the world, moving apartment, building our business’ & yet my favorite things are the little notes you leave & our late night chats!

Can you believe the couple next to me are the grandparents of 3 kids? 👩👧👨👧👦
Jon and Missy inspired me to think differently about aging. And many other aspects of my life for that matter.
In 2016, Jon, who is approaching 60, showed me a picture of himself that changed my life.
It was a picture of his body in his 50s as a grandfather of 3 and his body in his 20s. They looked EXACTLY the same: healthy, strong, and ripped.
I asked Jon how he did it. He said, “I have a belief in my mind that aging is optional.” He would tell himself “I have the body of a muscular ripped athlete, for life.”
That thought have completely changed my perspective, and it became part of my reality. Aging, is optional. And very much a belief system we buy into as a society. ⠀
Jon and Missy both decided to stay healthy and fit for their entire life. They refused to age. And today, they are two of the most beautiful grandparents I know.
The picture above is a recent picture of us hanging out at A-Fest at a beach party.
This focus on health inspired me to bring #WildFit
, to experiment with Ben Greenfield’s biohacks, and to start Mindvalley’s 2-year research on muscle development.
As a result, I went from 22% body fat to 14% and achieved a better body shape than what I had in my 20s. ⠀
So thanks to Jon I understood that AGING IS TRULY OPTIONAL, and I’ve made it part of my life vision to look sexy and fit when I become a granddaddy👴 ⠀

“Life should not only be lived, but it should also be celebrated”. That is why you deserve to step away to focus on yourself for at least 15-30... or more... minutes each day to celebrate yourself with a daily self-care practice.
One of my favorite ways to stay reminded about my own self-care during the holiday season is following my Blissful Holiday Check List.
1. DAILY: ❤️ Morning Lemon Elixir to improve digestion and cleanse my body.
1 cup of warm water
1⁄2 Lemon, juiced Dash of cayenne ❤️ Dry Brush Before Your Shower to improve circulation and detoxification.
You can use a dry brush, loofah, or dry towel. Start with your feet and work your way up your legs to your arms, chest, back, and stomach towards your heart. ❤️ Green Juice for Breakfast to feel light and nourished.
Celery+cucumber+kale+green apple+ginger+turmeric ❤️ 3-4pm Afternoon Protein Shake ❤️ My NEW eventing ritual, Gua Sha massage with crystals ❤️ Taking my probiotics before bed ❤️ Journaling before sleep
2. WEEKLY: ❤️ Epsom Salt Bath–3-4 times a week
It can be a sacred moment in your day, especially if it is done with candlelight and a drop or two of essential oils, such as lavender. It will help you relieve stress, calm your mind, and improve circulation.

I’ve always sort of struggled with friendships. People have come & gone in my life and honestly after college was the toughest, because I didn’t even know where to begin with making new friends.
I remember thinking at multiple points in the last 5 years that I couldn’t get married anytime soon, because I wouldn’t even have enough close girl friends to be my bridesmaids.

A few weeks back, I was doing absolutely nothing healthy as I was in Kenya 😝 & was wondering why I felt so shitty?! 😅 I mean I did what I could but I was out of my normal routine!
From being away, not only did I completely lose momentum with my workouts, but I lost motivation for just taking care of myself in general.. 👎🏼 You see where this is going, right?
I wanted so badly to feel even just a bit better. A bit more energized, in shape, confident, not so blah.. But I didn’t have the fundamentals down, so I struggled to make any choice that may benefit me.
Have you been here?? I have learned this lesson many times, so I knew exactly what I needed to do & when it was time to pick myself up, I did exactly that. I told myself I’d do ONE thing that I enjoyed & would make me feel good, & if I did that, it’d be a very successful day.
I started my workouts again and not only that, I set myself a goal where I get up everyday at 6am and smash it out for 30 mins 💦
Insanity Max:30 - Cardio Challenge ✅
Effective 30 mins ✅
OMG it felt good!! & after my workout, I felt like a nutritious yummmy Shake😋
Laziness breeds more laziness - activity breeds more activity.. maybe you’ve heard that one before 👍🏼 Everyday I gave myself ONE ‘most important task of the day’ for my wellbeing & it naturally made into me feeling soooo much better & so much more myself again 🌸
I made up a little daily checklist with activities that make me feel GOOD & also inspire healthy productivity. It’s not a crazy long impossible list, it’s realistic. Even so, there’s only been one day where I’ve ticked every box, but I don’t care!! It’s the intention that counts, & I know how much each contributes to my day 🙌🏼 Say it with me
I am my top priority. It’s my responsibility to fill my bucket everyday. I will choose to be proactive in changing my reality, because I deserve happiness.

There’s always a bright line.
There’s always a way to view negative things with a lens of positivity, no matter how shitty they may seem.
There’s always something to be grateful for.
Gratitude puts situations into perspective. When we can see the good as well as the bad, it becomes more difficult to complain and stay stuck.
Gratitude helps us realize what we have. The awareness of what we're grateful for can lessen our tendency to want more all the time.
Gratitude makes us happier. It strengthens relationships, improves health, reduces stress, and, in general, makes us happier.
I’m grateful for you all. You all make me better. You all hold me accountable. You make me human and a friend.
If you’re in a shitty situation, I encourage you to find the bright line - it’s there somewhere I promise.
Here’s one for you: You have a roof over your head 🏡 That, alone, is an incredible thing to be able to acknowledge.
