Till 2015, I had never actually tasted a #greensmoothie
. Like everyone else around me, my perception was GREEN = HEALTHY = YUCK 🤢 . I’m glad I attended not just one , but several workshops where #rawvegan
food experts dished out incredible juices and smoothies and salads and also shared their wisdom about making the recipe suit the INDIAN pallets. I also did detoxes, hand held by such experts. I had always presumed that smoothie making would be cumbersome but it actually takes 30 seconds to a minute, if you have your ingredients prepped. You need only two ingredients. A fruit. A green. I also didn’t know that there were so many greens available in bangalore ( growth here) . I always get wholistic vocalist workshop participants to taste two smoothies and also peek into my greens box 😁. In bangalore, we can rotate our greens coz we get #spinach #amarath
in purple, green and mixed colours , #kale #chard #beetrootleaves #lettuce
in many colours and varieties. Just by blitzing them with ripe bananas tastes awesome. I’ll put up other smoothie combos later on. #smoothie #greensmoothie
