Surviving winter 101 part 2:
is it just me or do things feel like 10x’s harder to do during winter? whether it’s working out, getting groceries, meeting up with friends? like sometimes you just don’t feel like itttt. -
so, this is surviving winter part 2: “getting things that i set up to do... done” which is —> part 1: “things that help me to feel good and get through winter”.
so i already know WHAT to do, but getting it done is a whole other ball game.. and my way of getting things done is this —> “JUST DO IT” 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 yes, that’s it. that’s the tweet. no magical idea, just that. JUST DO IT.
does it work? yes 100% or more like 80% but it does. It works for me on days where i’m just not feelin it. BUT i already know it’s something i want to do because again “surviving winter part 1” i need it. As my girl @haylesbeth
says, 85% of it is showing up!!!” it’s forgetting the excuses, and just doing. don’t think, just do, say it out loud if u need.
It’s cold and you don’t wanna get out of bed? Just do it.
It’s cold and you don’t wanna workout? Just do it.
It’s cold, and….. ?? just do itttt.
for me, to have a good day, i NEED to get out of the house. so i either:
1. set up an early workout or
2. meet with a friend for a coffee
like literally ANYTHING to get me out of my house. because, i know i’ll feel worse if i stay home/in bed.
SOOOO, let’s open up the chat a lil bit.
What do you DO to get things done during the winter? -
early workouts? Habit trackers? What helps you get stuff done?
