You know that workout you have done that made you feel absolutely amazing after you left? Today was that day for me. I absolutely loved this workout, and I realized I haven’t used the leg press lately so I threw that in there😎 here is how today went:
Legs All Over:
5 min elliptical, high resistance, high speed, mid incline.
20 leg press moderate weight @ high foot position super set with 30 standard, 30 duck, 30 pigeon position calf raise pulses
3 Rounds: 23 quad extensions
4 Rounds: 15 HEAVY lying leg curls
30 jump squats
12 Bulgarian split squats/leg ‼️FEEL YOUR GLUTES CONTRACT EACH REP‼️Be uncomfortable!!
3 Rounds: 25 HEAVY hip abductors
40 minutes spin
50 yoga ball crunches
30 yoga ball penguin shuffles (touch calves on each side, 15 per side)
I also wanted to let you know that I just had the IUD placed. If you are thinking about having one inserted, I highly advise staying active the day you get it. I felt so crampy, nauseated, lightheaded (I was legit yellow lol), and uncomfortable. I found that lying down and sitting were worse for me! Walking around and doing spin the next morning I think was the best medicine, along with Tylenol and ibuprofen😂 so far I love it and I am happy I made the switch! No estrogen, no worries of weight gain, mood swings, periods, etc. DM me if you have questions🤓
