Democrats: we can make evil illegal!
*passes more gun laws but shooting still happens*
Dems: let’s pass more legislation!
*passes more laws, gets shot*
One more law, that’ll do the trick.
*evil still exists*
Hmmm... what about more legislation?
/repeat into infinity/
📣🔵🔴Hey guys, I know this is more in the conservative ballpark but there will be a post tomorrow to settle the score.
So, should qualified and eligible staff members be able to carry firearms in case of an emergency for defense?
Should no firearms be allowed on a school's premise, much less in the teachers desk?

The Problem in West Virginia
The foundation is family, but it’s one of the poorest parts of the country. West Virginia has not much benefitted from the “nationwide” economic growth. In a USA Today article, the worst town in West Virginia to live in, Parkersburg, has a population of 30,962. About 25.3%, or about 7,833 people, live in poverty. In comparison with Maryland’s worst of Baltimore with a poverty rate of 21.9% with a population of 614,664. West Virginia’s GDP in 2017 was $74.0474 billion dollars and tourism made up 6.17% of that, with around $4.1 billion dollars. This number includes money spent by visitors and state and local taxes paid by residents to finance tourism jobs. The median household income in 2017 was $43,469 compared to the No. 1 ranked Maryland with a median income of $80,776. Their poverty rate is 19.1% which is the 4th highest with a population of only about 1.8 million. On a drive through the area, close to the stateliness with Virginia for relative location, the ratio of trailers to houses is about 6-1. The median value of a home in West Virginia is $96,800, contrasting largely with Virginia’s median of $254,000. The overall quality of life in West Virginia is very low, seeing as common jobs involve mining, automobiles, and gas stations. Despite all these statistics, the people in the areas around West Virginia are exceptionally okay with their terms of living. They are among the most patriotic in the entire country, along with the deep south. Socially, the community is a puzzle. Everyone has their place and any outsiders are avoided. It is extremely collectivist. Any people who leave, return as much as they can or grow quite anxious, thinking that they’ve abandoned their family and that they’ll be isolated once they do return. The average Appalachian (a region that includes West Virginia and its border states) is white, from a less populous rural area, and holds a blue collar job. In conclusion, West Virginia is an area of the United States that is mocked and rarely helped out of its economically hostile situation.
